Hunky Love...
so this card is up for a few challenges... and this is what they are:
1. Diedrich Dare #12 - Sketch by Jack... another great one...
2. FFF - Sweet treat... case your favorite treat... either by color, flavor, look or whatever it may be...
but 2 together and this is what i got!
My big hunk!!! hahaha! based on the black and white theme of the candy wrapper and hunky Ian, this is what i've created... =D Ian is an Autumn digi that you can get over at TGF... instant printing... so he's colored up in black and white with brown hair... i guess for the peanuts in the nougat... mmmmm yummmy! i don't always eat this since the chewy-ness always hurts my jaw, but it's so delicious when you don't eat it all the time... i prefer the bite sizes than the orignal bar... can't quite finish the whole thing... anyway, i don't have any black and white paper that isn't too girly so i stuck to solid CS.. wanted to add a little texture so i ran a white piece of CS through my crimper... with Jack's sketch, i put it all together... some buttons and voila! so i tried to make my own patterned paper by gluing white strips of CS to the solid black CS and the rest fell into place... flipped the last layer panel a little to fit the image...
well, i hope you enjoyed a piece of my sweet treat!!! wish you all a wonderful day... hoping to be back tomorrow with another creation! =D

Another Flutter Anya card...
Back again with another challenge card for you... i'm really glad i'm getting back into the challenges since they are a big help for me to finish up Christmas cards.... this card is for MMSC #29 - sketch challenge... different shades of purple makes this card... i love purple but it's so hard to find pretty purple papers... after searching through my stashes of paper, i found this flourished purple paper in my Christmas stack...
I used Flutter Anya from TGF again for this card... she's colored in lilac and pale lilac for a soft tone... diamond stickles on the inner part of her wings and snowflakes... the small snowflakes around the image has rhinestones instead of gg... the 2 shades of lilac looks better IRL...
well, just a quick post.... headed back into the craft room to finish up more... =D
Fluttering for Christmas
here's my card that i will be entering in 2 challenges...
1. LLWWC #14 - 3, 2, 1 Recipe... 3 patterned paper, 2 colors of CS and 1 embellie...
2. ATS Sketch Challenge
based on the fabulous sketch over at ATS, i used the recipe from La-La Land to create this holiday card... my choice of patterned paper were red circle DP and Green stripe DP both by Amercian Crafts Merry Mint collection... the Candy Cane glittered DP is from Imaginisce... i used a mossy green and white colored CS and my embellie is ribbon... the image i used is Flutter Anya from TGF... she's one of my fav stamps... she's designed to bring joy to any occasion... =D copics gives her color and stickles gg gives a bit of glitter on her wings... complete with a Happy Holidays sentiment from the new 2009 Hero Arts collection...
I based the colors on a friends favorite Christmas colors... i hope she likes it when she receives it...
well, that's all i have for you for now... DH and DD#1 is going fishing and DD#2 is down for her nap... so now i need to book it in the craft room and get creating while it's quiet... i haven't had the chance to really stop on any blogs the last 2 days, so i'm hoping i can do my rounds today... as always, thank you for stopping by today and check back later to see if i've done any more posting... and THANK YOU very much for your supporting and sweet comments! I appreciate all of them!!! =D

here's an easel card i made for my boss' granddaughter for her 2nd birthday... she's a day older than Alia... perfect time for my boss as they could visit their daughter and myself all at once... finally inked up Lolli Anya... she's so much fun to color and really cute too... you can get her from TGF... and the yummy paper is from doodlebug.... didn't really add much sice the DP stands out... it looks really cute as is... the sentiments were all computerized... i have to make one more of these for sweet lil' Alia who will be turning 2 on Thursday... oh my the terrible 2s... LOL...

i don't have any creations to show you today... unless you'll count my tree decorating as one... just wanted to share some pixs of our traditional tree decorating...
Miss Alia trying to figure out how to put her ornament on the tree... everytime she had a success, she would scream "i did it!"

Happy Thanksgiving!!! and Mini Candy Winner....
i over lapped the feathers by printing out a larger image than the first and layered them on top of eachother... Ian's head sits on top of everything... the sentiment is from Dandelion Designs... i don't have a collection of fall theme papers so i had to make do with fall colors and use plain CS... so then i decided to add a few fall leaves... he looks pretty good as a turkey!
I wish you all the best Thanksgiving... please take a moment to count your blessings and reflect on the people and things you are thankful for... I am thankful for life, my family and all of you whom i've met in just a short time! if it wasn't for life, i wouldn't be here today, if it wasn't for family, i wouldn't be who i am and if it weren't for all of you, i wouldn't have continued this journey... you all have blessed me with extra kindness, sweetness and lots of love and today is an extra special day to say "Thank you"!
now, without further adieu.... okay wait! first i want to THANK ALL OF YOU who played along with my mini blog candy giveaway... i enjoyed reading your responses... as many of you still hold the traditional colors strong, a lot of you were daring with non-tradtional colors as well... for me, as i love the traditional colors too, i ABSOLUTELY LOVE blue as a christmas color... well, blue goes for any season, so i think it's kind of neutral... =D okay, okay to announce the winner... Winner was chosen/generated by Random.org.... and the winner is TASHA!!!

A Fairy magical Wednesday
Welcome to Flutter By Wednesday #85!!! we hope you are all well and ready for the holidays... there's an extra twist this week and we hope you'll come and fly with us... this week, we want to see you use a circle, or circles on your creation... along with the MUST have of a butterfly, fairy or angel... you have to use atleast one of the 3 required in order to qualify... and when you're done, don't forget to add it to Mr. Linky on Danni's blog... and if uploading to a gallery, please use keyword FBW85 so we can find you... now what do i have for you today?!?!
I've used Summer Fairy digi from TGF... i'm not quite sure why, but i had this urge to color her up in dark and glittery colors... i just had her visioned in a sparkly black (okay it's a really dark gray) outfit that shimmers in the night... main colors for this card is a deep red, dark and light gray, black and white.... hmmm, a light Twi influenced here... hehehe! i punched a tiny hole in the middle of the flower image and added the little flower.. the flowers on the corners are punched and attached to a black cirle secured with a silver brad that i added silver stickles to... the base red CS was embossed with flourishes to give a hint of texture... i liked the sentiment (TGF's Hope and Grace set) because it had the word "Magic".... she seems pretty magical right?! silvery ribbon also on the corners beneath the flower and circle and even the butterflies love her... they just had to flutter by her... they have a tint of frosted lace stickles... i really really wanted to glitter her hair but DH said that would have been a little too much... i think he was right!
Be sure to check out the other team members as they have some fabulous showings for you too...

First ornament on my tree...
{{Please click here to enter my blog candy... you have until Midnight (HST) tomorrow to enter... Thank you!}}
Happy Tuesday Friends!!! let me start off by saying: i'm so sorry for the not so well pictures... apparently the flash is visible and on the 2nd picture, i forgot to shake the ornament so it hide part of the sentiment.. Hope you'll still enjoy it!!
So as my title reads, this is the FIRST ornament i've placed on my tree... it's all set up and everything, but we are waiting for Thanksgiving day to decorate it... it's our SPECIAL family tradition... =D looking forward to it as i have a few new ones to add to my butterflies, barbies, personalized ornaments by DD#1 and so much more... oooh getting very excited!!!
anyway, on to my ornament... this was made for the following challenges:
1. Inky Impressions - create an ornament or add an ornament to your creation... this is actually my 2nd entry for this challenge as i've used an Inky Impression image... Hey, if you haven't already done so, they are having a DT call so be sure to check it out.... Those of you in Hawaii still have a little bit of time to join in...
2. SSHP #08 - Ornament Obession.... i think the challenge name says all... so here's my ornament on the tree... =D This ornament was made for DD#2... she chose the colors and DP and what to add into her ornament... this image was perfect for her as she loves to put on her rubber boots and chase the goats up at Grandpa's farm... i used Cowgirl Lili (Inky Impressions)... colored her up in a blue and brown combo... the DP is horse shoe print by DCWV... we added raffia to mimic hay and she wanted blue dew drops inside too... She loves to shake this ornament up... here's the flip side... on the back i printed a little sentiment "Have a boot kickin' Christmas"... sorry, it's a little hidden and the flash covered the "b"... added a bow using a creamed color ribbon tied with an off setting blue... the ornament ball is an acrylic ornament, split in half for easy filling... I used nesties label 4 to make the backing... and the image is popped out a little using pop up dots... used hemp string to hold the image so it can twirl inside... and there you have it! the main thing for me is that DD#2 loves it and that surely brings a SMILE to my face...
that's it for now... please join me tomorrow for a FLUTTER BY creation.... Happy Crafting!!!

RAK and Make n' Take
Ho Ho Santa favor !!! isn't it the cutest?!? and Krislen made it without help from Mommy... she is so proud of her creation... and i'm surprised all the candy is not gone yet... Thank you Aunty Joy for your help!!! Alia got one too! Joy was so sweet not to leave her out... now, her candy is all gone as Mommy and Daddy got to it! =D We also have the ingredients to make Joy's Owl french fry box that we are planning to make on thanksgiving day...
Mystery Monday!
I have the honor of hosting this week's Mystery Monday Challenge... Ice Ice Baby!!! Woohoo! so come on out and play with the Club Anya Team, fans, followers, the whole works!! We wanna see you create up in icy blues, snowflakes, sparkles, ice, anything that will bring the chills (especially in Hawaii, LOL)... Hop on to the Club Anya blog and get all the deets... Thanks to Jessica, for a fun and awesome opportunity... I was super excited to be asked to be hostess... remember, in order for your entry to be counted, it must include an Anya or Ian image and be in the TGF Gallery by 12 noon CST... so for my Hawaii friends, that's 8 am our time... ooh i can't wait to see the magic and chills... and no, i don't just mean on top of Haleakala Mountain! =D Have fun with this challenge and I sure hope you'll play along...

Sharing is caring!
This card is up for FFF - Kadie's No DP or patterned paper challenge... it's hard not to pull out some DP, but i did my best... Made this card for DD#2's 2nd birthday coming up in 2 weeks... i can't believe how time flew by...
I used Madelynn, one of the newly released Twinkle Tots from TGF... she's such a cutie... had this really cute heart ribbon by American Crafts that i based my colors on... no DP right?! so i used some embossing plates to add some texture and design... and wow! i didn't use glitter! i can't believe that.... well, DD#2 is that girly... LOL... used 2 different heart punch sizes to make the hearts... sentiment is from Hero Arts... i don't know why, but i like the color combo... =D

Who said the Grinch stole Christmas?!
okay, i don't want to spoil it for anyone... but i would most DEF, see it again... so much better on the big screen... =D
so now, who said the Grinch stole Christmas?!? i think this Fairy totally stole Christmas...
I used Autumn Fairy from the new fairy line at TGF... if you haven't already, go and check out these new digis... and as you can tell, i made another easel card.... told yah i love them! sorry for the distorted card... although the sun is shining bright, the wind was blowing and kept lifting my card... anyway, this card is based on the sketch and theme at Midnight Madness (MMSC#28)... going green on the coloring, i just thought it was best to base the whole card on shades of green... found some great flourished DP in my Christmas stack that i used on here... beautiful snowflake ribbons by American Crafts... I have no idea where i got those white snowflakes... the colored snowflakes were punched and i colored them with copics... the white flower is from a poinsettia bush... little yellow green brads for the flower and stopper... some stickles on her wings and hair... i don't know, but i think she looks great in green... such a sassy, mischievous look... but really, she has a heart of gold...
well, i wish you all a wonderful weekend and hope you all get to craft some... Hubby is trying to smoke a turkey right now, and oh my, it smells sooooo good! i finished putting the tree up (undecorated) so now it's time to clean the craft room and get crafting... we won't decorate the tree until Thanksgiving day, but it's still pretty with the lights on... =D Aloha!

Hugs and Kisses!
Happy Thursday!!! you didn't think i'd leave you hanging with no creation today, huh?! =D well it's finally thursday (my friday, woohoo)... and for all you Twi-Lovers, tonight is the BIG night... release of New Moon.... woohooo to that... now, i didn't take tomorrow off because of the movie, it's actually another furlough day... and i need to use up some vacay time before year end... we have blackout days so it's hard to take off around this time of year... anywho, hubby surprised me with tickets to watch the midnight showing... ahhhh, so excited! so yup, i'm gonna be a crazy and watch it... =D worked out perfectly with tomorrow off... don't think i would be able to survive at work with only 1 1/2 hours of sleep...
so i did it!!! my very FIRST easel card... and lemme tell you, i'm so LOVING it... don't be surprised if you see more... this card is up for these great challenges:
1. Diedrich Dare Week #11- Easel card.... haha! i was totally DARED!
2. LLWWC #13 - Thankful/Thank you theme... perfect with Thanksgiving only a week away
3. LPSC - Die cut - you need to use a die cut on your card/creation
so what did i do?!?!?
took some pretty glittered striped DP by DCWV along with some orange gingham DP... inked up Ava from the Twinkle Tots line at TGF... colored her with copics and added some stickles... used some ribbon and lots of dew drops... asstd flowers, both punched and primas... nesties label 4 as my die cut piece... and i just had to add that cute little froggy button to match the image... well, sorta... and my sentiment... "Thanks for hugs and kisses"...
couldn't get a good snap of the card, so sorry if it looks a blur... i hope Santa brings me a new camera... =D
okie dokie friends.... back to the craft room until it's time to go to the movies... Wow, the hubby and i haven't had a date night in a looong time... wonder if he'll buy me dinner too?!?! LOL, okay now i think i'm pushing my luck! LOL... enjoy the rest of the day!

Round about...
1. Anyone for Anya - Getting round to it... the DT wants to see anything round on your creation... hmm, i think i have LOTS of that...
2. Inky Impressions Challenge - Create an ornament or add an ornament to your card/project
Inky Impression is also having a DT call that goes along with this challenge... go and check it out.... you can find all the information you need here...
with both of these challenges in mind, i've created a round ornament... =D
here's a full view of the whole ornament... i tried to take a pix outside, but with the wind, it was impossible to keep it still... my ornament base is a lid from a paint can that i used for some centerpieces... i kept the lids for an in case moment, which was this week... so using the lid, i added lace... cut out a circle from patterned paper to fit the base and then cut the image of Angel Anya (by TGF) slightly smaller to fit over the patterned paper... it looked really plain... so after tossing and turning embellies here and there, i said "self, why not use your oodles of dew drops?!" and there you have it... IRL, you can actually see the patterned paper through the dew drops... punched out some snowflakes and colored a few with copics... added stickles gg to give it a little sparkle... used pink organdy ribbon to hang the mini present ornaments (from walmart) and glued the snowflakes onto the ribbon... then finally, attached it the the back of the base...
this is a close up of the base... this pix was taken outside... only clear shot i got... you can tell by the lace that the wind was blowing... on a close look, Anya was colored with copics... cotton candy stickles was added to her bow complete with a small rhinstone... white fun flock was used on her wings for a soft textured feel... and tiara stickles was added to her halo... she looks so precious... hmmm, what do you think?! do you like this creation?? =D
i think ima hang her on our front door... the inside of course... a little Angel blessing before we head out the door... =D
Okie dokie, need to figure out what we're having for dinner... tomorrow's my friday since i requested a vacay day on Friday... you know what that means... i'll be up all night crafting tomorrow... maybe i'll be a crazy and go to the midnight showing of NEW MOON!!! LOL... but really, i do want to go... LOL...
Thanks for coming by today... i enjoy reading all your sweet comments that you leave... you are all appreciated and i can't thank you enough for all your support... just know that i'm VERY thankful for you.... HUGS!!!!

Don't forget to link up your Flutter by Wednesday Challenge #84 to Mr. Linky on Danni's blog so we can see what you've created... ooh i can't wait to see all of it... =D
here's my card.... with all the excitement i couldn't help but create a fun card with fun and bright colors... haha! like my sentiments?!?!? perfect with Flutter Anya from TGF don't yah think?! colored Anya with my copics... used some diamond stickles gg on the inner part of her wings... little rhinestones for the butterfly bodies and some in her hair... to make it look like a clip... oval scallop nesties for the layered BG behind Anya... the base BG is butterfly and flower DP from DCWV... and ribbon is from American Crafts...
i just love the inside note... perfect for congratulating someone on their good news... whether it be for a new job, engagement, new baby, or for me, a new DT spot, this card is versatile to fit your need... hehehe! so come on, i know you wanna come and play with us... spread your wings and flutter on by...

Chocolate Candy Canes Please!
okay, i didn't use the traditional candy cane colors... my favorite candy cane is the Hershey's chocolate ones.. so i had to make it look like it... =D isn't this image the cutest?!? i LOVE it... sorry i couldn't get a nice picture of just the card front... this was the best out of the shots i did snap... but atleast you can see the slider box with this one...
using copics i colored up this cute duo with Christmas colors... and with this project i added stickles gg to various parts... are you able to see the sketch??!! it was a little hard since i had a smaller space to create with... DPs is from the Merry Mint collection by American Crafts... so yummy!
Sending some sweet wishes...
Hiya Friends!! Happy Saturday!! i'm still up and i REALLY need to get some shut eye... it's a busy busy day when the sun comes up... a few hours of rest will help... anyway... i have a sweet card for you this morning... used up some scraps from another creation that i'll show you later today or tomorrow... i just LOVE this digi and sweet papers and i hope this special recipient does too... based on these following challenges, i made this card for someone very sweet...
1. MMSC #27 - Sketch
2. Paperplay challenge week #41 - Recipe = 2 patterned paper, 1 ribbon and 3 buttons
i hope these little mice send some sweet smiles to Noah Biorkman... while blog hopping, i came across a request posted on Danni's blog... after reading about it, my heart melted and i thought to myself "how would i feel if it were one of my children?"... so with all my heart, i'm going to particpate in fulfilling Noah's request... to receive lots of Christmas cards... you can take the link to Danni's blog and read about Noah's story... and if you wish to send him a greeting, please do so to: Noah Biorkman 1141 Fountain View Circle, South Lyons, MI 48178
flipped the sketch a little.... colored up this digi with playful colors... didn't add any glitters to the image... there is some in the candy DP, which was good enough... i tried not to make it look so girly since it's for a little boy... i hope he likes and i hope you do too!
time to head off into dreamland... i'll be back soon! have a wonderful day! and please tell someone you love them today, and give them a hug!

Merry Christmas Darling...
greeting cards have all been sent... the Christmas rush is through... but i still have one wish to make... a special one for you.... Merry Christmas Darling... we're apart, that's true... but i can dream, and in my dream... i'm Christmasing with you...
ahh! my old time favorite song... please don't picture me singing it though... i'll only sing it once a year on karaoke... and OMGosh! let's not even go there... LOL... i'm getting in the Christmas spirit and was listening to some Christmas songs when making this card.... among my favorites, Merry Christmas Darling by the Carpenters... i just LOVE LOVE LOVE that song... hehehe...
what is this you ask! i was being silly and started playing with acetate sheets... and then i happened on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog... this weeks #11 challenge is to use acetate... and then a light bulb turned on (and not very often does it)... light bulb told me to do the TGF FFF Wild Week 2 sketch on it... and it is a TOTALLY fabulous sketch by one of the DTMs - Cindy Haffner...
here's my card as a whole... don't worry, i'll break down the sketch for you... i really love this digi... it's so sweet... colored this couple up with copics... added christmas tree green stickles to the green parts... added a green rhinestone to her bow and some red rhinestones for the berries... i actually made this for the DH... he went fishing so i thought i'd use the sketch to make his card... there is actually some ribbon holding this card together because i love to put our cards on our tree... now it's perfect for hanging...
this is what it looks like when you lift the top flap...
and this is what it looks like when you left the 2nd flap... now, put it all down... and there you have my card... but i'm sorry you have to scroll up again to see it whole.. =D i have to hide this before he comes home... eventually, i'll add a base to write out my card to him, but i won't just yet... it was fun making it... something different for me... sorry about the pictures again... some came out okay and some didn't... i think i have to ask Santa for a new camera... =D

On Angel Wings....
Angel is up for the following challenges...
1. Flutter by Wednesday #83- create a card with the theme "Thankful" using a butterfly, fairy or angel.. hope you'll find something you are thankful for and link up on this great challenge...
2. LLWWC #12 - Getting Punchy - bring out your punches and play along.... oh, if you don't have any punches, then dies are okay too...
3. Cute Card Thursday #86 - Glitter me silly! hahaha! LOVE to glitter, glitter and sparkle, sparkle...
3 great challenges = 1 great card...
On angel wings.... I am very thankful for life, for family, for what I have, and for all of the great friends i've made throughtout my journey in blogland... I chose to use Angel Anya because this image is very soft, sweet and humble... and because this Angel represents each and every one of you... all of you are my guiding Angels.... and therefore, I am "Thankful" for all of you.... (sigh, tear) many of us are so busy in our daily lives that sometimes we don't stop to really think about what we really have... not material things, but deep in our hearts, what we all have is LOVE... so THANK YOU friends, for being my friend and turning my frowns upside down.... =D
so i've used a few punches, MS mini scallop, butterfly and snowflakes... used diffent shades of blue... i actually colored the smaller snowflakes with the same color copics i used for Angel's dress, bow and streaks of hair... added frosty blue stickles to her blue hair streaks, bow, and snowflakes... then added frost lace stickles to the butterflies and eyeshadow... blue rhinestones... fun flock to her wings... and i can't forget the beautiful snwflake DP...

1. Club Anya - Mystery Monday by Rachel - NO patterned paper
2. Stamp 'n Scrap Hawaii - Dry Embossing
i have to admit that it was VERY hard not use patterned paper... but in the end i guess it wasn't that hard since we were allowed to emboss which was perfect for Stamp 'n Scraps challenge... now if Rachel said no bling, i think i would have cried... LOL... chose to use traditional Christmas colors for this card and use my Christmas embossing texturez from Sizzix... the BG (green) is embossed with holly berries and swirls and the red is embossed using season greetings... had to embellie this one up... and when i saw this ribbon at the craft store, i knew i had to pair it up with cheer Anya... finally used my MS branch punch and punched out a bunch of flowers to layer... added dew drops on to the red/white and little rhinestones on the green/white flowers... complete with the sayings on the ribbon... and yes, i had to sparkle her up... used green stickles on her skirt and bow and diamond stickles on the white parts of her pom pom.... well, what do you think?!? click on the pix to make it bigger and hopefully the embossing shows... it does look better IRL!
Have a fabulous day!!! be back later with more goodies to show you....
