Having some fun....

Wow! is everyone recovering from the long weekend?! hope you all found some craft time... i surely did... towards the ending of the weekend though... but i managed to get a few creations done... a great sense of accomplishment... besides crafting, the weekend was spent with my hubby and kiddies... truly priceless moments and cherished memories...

i'm sharing a "having some fun" card that i created just because...
playing with some color blends and working on some black hair coloring... Swiss Pixies Tulip Brigitta Digi from CC Designs was really wonderful to play with in my trial and errors... she's just so cute! i actually colored her tulip a brighter pink but decided i didn't like it so i sorta paper pieced the flower with another colored one, popping it up... used the oval nestie with the out of box technique too... hope you like it! hope the recipient will like it too!! =D

this creation is up for a few challenges too...

1. ATS - Photo Inspiration
2. The Sweet Stop - Sketch 124
3. Cute Card Thursday - A pinch A PUNCH - Use atleast 1 punch

i feel so happy when i can play in challenges... with my upcoming busy schedule, my challenge playing days will be limited again... so i'm going to soak in as much as i can... helps me build my stock too... hehe...

happy wishes for a new (and short) week! have a happy tuesday friends, thanks for taking some time to check this out!!

Day dreamin' of LOVE...

Happy Friday!!! Yay for another long weekend!!! so much going on this weekend i can barely keep my feet grounded... Valentine's and Chinese New Year on Sunday, President's day on Monday... Wow!!! that's all i can really say...

i was a little determined last night and this morning to get atleast one card made... and wow did it feel good to be able to craft again... =D big smiles coming from me...
Here's a Vday card i made for my darling hubby... i hope he likes it... had to finish it quickly before he finished work today... =D used one of the Miss Anya Love girls from TGF... DP from American Crafts... oodles of primas that i won from MMSC... MS lace border punch and lots of matting... the pink on Miss Anya is glittered with frosted lace stickles and well... that's about it...

Sweet Miss Anya is up for the following challenges:

1. MMSC #40 - Your choice sketch

2. DCRU #25 - Love challenge

3. ROP #31 - Color challenge ~ pink, brown & cream

i {HEART} you!

Another Saturday post... woohoo! i must be feeling better... although i'll probably be MIA tomorrow since we'll be at the beach all day... i'm making sure i'm bringing my coloring mediums and stamped images so i can get ahead with those... =D

and behold, i have a creation for you today... this card is going for these challenges:

1. MMSC #39 - Your choice sketch... be sure to check out the blog to see the sketches...

2. LLWWC #24 - Use hearts....
here's what i've created... really plain and simple... used my nesties for the big heart and adhered some scrap lace to the back of it... used some new Valentine's day ribbon by American Crafts... it says Love on it and has hearts too... punched some hearts and added rhinestones middles and placed them on the corner o the big heart... and also found some whinestone hearts that i have on the bottom left corner... i used Fairy Lala that you can purchase from La-La Land Crafts and added a rhinestone heart over the star that she's actually holding... glittered the red areas of the image and that's it...

Sorry i gottah get going... we have another date night with some friends... and i was suppose to get ready 1/2 hour ago... LOL... oops, my bad! Hope you all like this creation!!! See you all soon! Hugs!!!

Coach inspired handbag?!

Oh my! Happy Saturday!!! gosh i've missed you all the last couple of days... i ran out of mojo and just didn't have anything in me to create... but behold i'm back!!! haha! caught up on some much needed rest and now i'm ready to go go go.... Hope you all have been well!! haven't visited you all in a long time, i'm looking forward to see what you've been up to...

my project here today is for La La Land Challenge #23 - Gift Card Holder.... i haven't really done any so this was fun in the making... I found a tutorial on the net for a simple gift card holder/card (sorry forgot to save the site) and then i was looking for one of my gift cards to put inside for pictures... so i found a Coach giftcard that i received for Christmas and that inspired me to change up my project and turn it into a little handbag/card/gift card holder.... see!!
i thought this DP by American Crafts was the perfect to case a patterned "Coach" bag.. or any designer bag actually.... used some ribbon as handles and placed a strip of matching DP (from the inside) as a closure flap that i then covered up with a cutout of one of the Miss Dressy Anya girls... this stamp can be bought on the TGF website... then i noticed that some designer bags have their logo somewhere on the front of the bag so i tried to case that with the Love sentiment from the I Heart set that you can get from LPS....
here's the inside... the DP is again from American crafts... do you spy the Coach logo?! hehehe! haven't decided what i want to buy with it yet... i think i have to save a little bit more, okay a lot more, for the bag i've had my eyes on... ;D
i'm gonna switch out the gift card for another one, probably for a sweet treat and give this cutie to DD#1's teacher... i'm pretty happy with the way this came out and i hope you like it too!!! Thanks for coming by to share a few minutes with me... and thank you so very much for all your support and comments on my creations and random sharings... they mean so much to me and really keep me going.... Happy everything friends!!!!

Pink Passion....

The weekend surely flies by when you're having fun! wow, it's Saturday already... why can't the work week fly by as fast?! LOL... Hope you all are having a fabulous weekend... despite my sore arm, i'm still enjoying myself... the pain isn't there if you don't think about it... haha! actually got my Dad to massage my arm for me and it just brought me to tears, it was soooo SORE! so i'll probably show a little bruising but it feels better... not 100% but better than yesterday...

i have yet another creation for you today... please excuse the horrible lighting in the pictures... yikes! this card is up for these challenges:

1. Anyone for Anya?! - Black & White + 1 ~ 1 other color that is... can you guess what i chose?!
2. DCRU #22 - Sketch ~ a great sketch to play with too...
3. LLWWC #22 - Fancy Folds Cards ~ i chose to do a gate fold
4. C4C21 - Pretty in Pink ~ does that say it all... =D

like i said i did a gate fold card... i think i've only made one before this... but it's something different right?! the colors i chose to use are black, white and PINK! i did the front of the card using the sketch DCRU #22... which was a bit of a challenge but worked out perfectly with the gate fold... lots of layers and matting on here... i used 4 different ribbons and punched out some flowers that i layered and added a rhinestone middle... the sentiment is from that Butterfly Wishes set from TGF... and this pretty paper is from Bo Bunny...
here's the inside... used one of the girls from the Miss Anya Love set... newly released and also from TGF... used stickles on the what parts of the image and use my copic multiliners to colors in the black parts... rhinestones are the centers of her flowers... i was very tempted to fancy up the panels in the inside too... but decided not to or else i wouldn't be able to close the card...

Hope you like what you see here... it was lots of fun in the making... Thank you for taking some time to visit me... i just want you all to know that i appreciate you stopping by and leaving such wonderful comments.... i hope i can inspire you just enough to maybe make you want to join in on a challenge or 2... i'll be back later with an OCS and an awesome creation (not by me though)... so until then, have a MARVELOUS day!!! Smiles!

Heart, hearts and more hearts...

HELLLLOOOOO Thursday!! thankful for another day... it's back for work for me since i had to stay home yesterday.... wasn't feeling too great... but i think i'm all better now... my keyword is "think"... LOL...

so i do have a creation for you today... one that i really {heart}... and i couldn't help but use this for a few challenges....

C4C20 - Sketch

LPSC51 - Buttons

Inky Impressions #28 - pink and hearts

i was super excited to finally ink up my new I Heart set from LPS... i was lucky enough to win this through one of their challenges last month... perfect timing to create those Valentine's cards... i really really {heart} this set... both the image and sentiment is from this set, but the images are so versatile that you don't have to only use them for Vday... it can be used for anything.... colored my image with copics and added tiny buttons on to the heart shaped trees... can you see it?! it's so cute! then i used my heart nesties and stamped the white heart using the Love sentiment in cocoa brown and then i found some heart buttons in my stash so added those too... can you feel the love with all those hearts?! hehehe!

well now, working on a few more goodies that i hope i can share with you all soon... been limiting my craft time so i can get lots of rest and really feel better... Thanks for visiting me today! and even more so, THANK YOU so much for all your wonderful comments!!! i enjoy reading all of them and you all do put a smile on my face! so thank you from the bottom of my heart and up for your continous love, guidance and support!!! Muwah!

Framing LOVE forever....

Hello! Hello! wow, 2nd post of the day... be sure to check out my post from this morning.... i'm so glad it is the end of the day and i can finally settle down to a normal routine and play around with some crafting... because of my long nap yesterday, i was up all night until 6:30 this morning before i said i need to get some sleep before the start of the day... haha! i was back up at 8... OMGosh... it was a sorta crazy day, going here, going there... so now it's really nice to be in the comfort of my home... =D

i'm really proud of this project that i'm about to show you... it has so much meaning to me and i adore the way it came out... so without further teasing, here it is...
please excuse the glare from the glass... couldn't get a better picture otherwise... so before i go on to my recipe, here's some challenges this lovely is going for...

1. TGF FFF - Picture This!

2. Cute Card Thursday Challenge 95- Pink/Grey color combo

using some pretty pink and grey paper by S.E.I, i cut it to fit the frame for the picture and to fit inside the frame... used another double sided sheet of solid grey and a light pink polka dot print and and punched out some border strips using a MS scallop lace punch... using the scraps of that, i punched out butterflies and layered them for a fluttering look... used Cake Topper set from TGF and colored Ian up in a dark grey color (used a light and dark shade) and Anya with pink ribbon... found this pretty pink and white flower embellies in one of my stash containers so i added that to her hair as well as te label above the picture... also added a sheer pink ribbon overlapped with white rick rack ribbon, on the bottom of the frame, behind Ian and Anya... and there it is.... a precious moment captured forever... my life, my love, my everything! i was going to save this and give it to DH as a anniversary present, but i changed my mind and rather have it on my desk at work... =D i'll make him another...

that's all i have for you on this beautiful Saturday... do plan on playing in the craft room again tonight while the DH is out fishing and the kiddies are at Aunty's house... it's a nice quiet night with just me and the doggy and a full tank of fish!! Have a WONDERFUL Saturday everyone!!

Winter Fun...

{Friday's post was a little late, but it's up! Check it out, if you have time! Thank you!!}

Haha!! So you thought we were done with Christmas?! well, technically we are, but it's still WINTER... and i know some friends that are getting a kick start with Christmas cards for this year! Fabulous idea!!! especially for me, knowing that this year will be an extremely busy one, can't help but join in (as much as i can)... will take off a whole lotta last minute creating as the holiday nears again...

Thanks to Danni and Kimberly, my awesome FBW sisters, for inspiring what they have created as a challenge (mainly personal goals) called A Touch of Christmas... it's a showcase that they do every Thursday... with a little ease of doing atleast one card, tag or the like once a week, in prep for Christmas 2010... they would love to see what you create... =D so, this week i'm joining in...

thankfully, i haven't put away all my Christmas/winter supplies... but i was able to organize them and now have them all in one container instead of 5... the only thing that is a mess are my papers... and i have scraps of them everywhere.. LOL... and, of course, a few challenges helped me out on this card.... Here is what this is for....

1. ROP #29 - Winter

2. MMSC #36 - Sketch

3. DCRU #21 - Leftovers (create a Christmas/Holiday card with scraps)

4. SSHP #14 - Snowflakes Gone Wild

a quick recap.... using the sketch over at MMSC, i pulled out some scrap snowflake paper along with some red and white striped paper... colored Sweetie Anya from TGF with copics and fun flocked the white areas... punched many snowflakes, small and large and glued them together off setting the colors... added tiny red and white rhinestones to the middles... used the sentiment Happy Holidays from Dandelion Designs and last but not least, some white ribbon... eek! sorry for the horrible picture... you can actually click on the pix to enlarge it....

not bad for my 1st Christmas card this year.... hahaha! don't mean to pull you down since i know we're all still recovering from that holiday... but really, it is a fabulous idea right?! okie dokie artichokie.... come back later.... may have just one more for you today... =D

Cupcake for you!

It's Thursday! It's Thursday!! OMGoodness how happy i am that there is only one more work day this week... i'm looking forward to the weekend and not having to wake up super duper early... and hey, it's a 3 day weekend too... even better... maybe i can finally catch up on my unfinished crafts... LOL...

Got in some crafty time today, which was a semi sorta stress reliever... yah, crafting is a good way to relieve stress... but it was the usual.... start pulling supplies and then "Mom!" okay, go see what happened... alright, now back to the craft chair.... then "Mommy!" okay, now these girls need to learn how to share... back again, then "Babe!" arrrrghh! LOL.... but i did have time to finish this card for you tonight.... despite the interruptions... hehe!

so here's the challenges this card is up for:

1. Crazy 4 Challenges ~ C4C19 - Birthday Theme

2. LLWWC #21 ~ Shaped Cards

3. PaperPlay Week 2 ~ Furry Friends

So let's begin, with my shaped card... i love this style cupcake... and i actually got this template from BFC website in the projects section... and all i did was make the template bigger to my liking... then i pulled the papers i wanted to use.... used Krafty CS as the base and traced the top on some glitter paper and the bottom on Imaginisce DP (sorry can't remember what line)... ran the bottom through my crimper for a more realistic textured look... used this cutesy dog and cupcake from the darling CC Designs set given by my GF Joni H.... don't know where i got that sentiment from... i found it lying in my clear stash... and then i also used this awesome (i wanna say glitter but it's not) blueberry slush, also from Joni, a little on the cupcake that the dog has and then as sprinkles on the cupcake top... oh, and i added dark brown ribbon... not sure why but i just wanted ribbon on there... LOL... only thing missing is the cherry on top... that's okay, i can be the cherry... HAHA!

okay... need to get my 2nd fix of crafting before bed time... DD#2 is staying at Great-Grandma's tonight which is a load off my shoulders since she's the more active one... oh no! i just remembered that we have a sorta busy schedule this weekend... yikes! so much for sleeping in... oh well! that's life!! come back tomorrow for another creation!!! Have a fabulous night/day friends!!!! Big Hugs!!!

We THANK Katie very much for being our first sponsor and for sponsoring her generous gift to the winner.... Very much appreciated Katie!! From all of us here at the Dare.... Please check the Dare blog for the winner of last week's challenge...

Now i bring to you the sketch created by the wonderful Jack! Presenting.... DDSC#18....
I think he kept this one fairly easy for you to come and play along... Just look at it and vision a creation... Here's my take....

i adore this sweet image from Belles n' Whistles called "Sisters"... my favorite image by far... hmmm, is it because i have 2 little girls?!?!? yah, i think so.... nothing more precious than big sister lending a hand to little sister... (i wish it could ALWAYS be like that)... haha! but with them being 4 years apart, they do get on eachother's nerves... =D they are completely different from Mommy though, i'll stick with clothing that is dark and earth tone, these girls go for BRIGHT!!! so, used some bright copics to color these sweeties... i added some stickles to the flowers, grass and leaves... used Prima flowers with button centers and some bling bling... the sentiment is from the Fancy Fleurs set that you can get at TGF.... this card is simple, the colors keep it busy, and i think i did pretty darn good keeping with the sketch... and i really thought about it and figured that i'd enter this into the SSHP#13 Challenge - Love without hearts, as my interpretation of the challenge is Sisterly Love.... =D

Here's a list of my FABULOUS DT sister's that will be joining in this week... Please take some time and show them some LOVE...

Debbie Lee

Blue Fairy...

Happy Wednesday!!! Time for Flutter By Wednesdays #92.... Did you all enjoy the blog hop last week??? It was FLUTTERING beyond because of all of you... Thank you for supporting the challenge and the team as we transitioned to our new fluttering home!! and if you haven't done so already, please follow us on the new home of FBW... you don't want to miss a thing!
Fluter By Wednesday #92 is an OPEN challenge this week as long as you have a butterfly, fairy or angel on your creation... make sure you link up with Mr. Linky over on the FBW blog so we can come and enjoy your beautiful creations... and if uploading to SCS/PCP/Gallery, please use keyword FBW92...

I toned down my colors this week for FBW... as most of you know, my all-time FAVE color is blue... but i don't play with it as often as i'd like too... so this week, i'm playing with blue...
using this sweet fairy from Inky Impressions, i colored her in shades of blues using copics... this image is darling, one of my faves from the company... also using the sketch challenge #27 happening over on the Inky Impressions Challenge blog, this is how i put my card together... you all know i love my butterfly punches, so of course i used them on this creation... i have the butterflies in place of the flowers that were on the sketch... along with some different shades of blue bling... some stickles on her wings... and that completes it!

Please flutter on to my DT Sister's blogs and see what they have fluttering for you today... links to their personal blogs are on my sidebar... and then make your way back to the FBW blog and link up...

Thank you for joining me today! i hope you will Flutter with us!!

"LOVE" New Miss Anya

Beautiful Saturday today!!! Nothing like doing nothing at all... LOL... yah right! me, do nothing... hahaha! i don't have a story for you today... but i do have a creation and some beautiful RAKs (i'll share on another post).... Glad you all liked my story yesterday... everytime i stamped an image (last night and today) i'm still giggling to myself... LOL...

okie dokie... got to combine a few challenges into this creation and here's what this is up for:

1. MMSC #35 - Sketch (found on the MM blog)

2. Anyone for Anya - Anything goes

3. Cute Card Thursday #94 - All New - (my new is the new Miss Anya Stamp and flowers)

4. Farm Fresh Friday at TGF - Mary's Glitter and Glue Challenge

Miss Anya Love was one of the new stamps that i got in the mail yesterday and i was so eager to ink her up... isn't she lovely?! this card was put together using the MMSC #35 sketch... since i added the flowers to her bouquet, i decided to copy the ribbon in her hair and add it to where the flowers were suppose to be... punched out some big hearts and then punched out smaller hearts in the middle and then glued pink and brown CS to the back... glittered up the heart on her bow, pink of the dress, shoes and eyelids with frosted lace stickles... and i did the same with the white parts of the heart too.... need to see the pix closer?? click on the image to enlarge...

i sure hope you like this creation... i do, i do! hopefully i can squeeze in a few more hours of craft time tonight... right now, i'm off to finally take down my Christmas tree... LOL, yes, it's still up... perks of having a fake one... be back soon with some RAKs to share... Aloooooha!

Together Forever...

I'm back with another creation for you... are you all still with me?!?! =D

Using sketch #5 from the TGF 12 days of sketches challenge and the ROP #28 - Favorite Medium challenge, i've come up with this darling, sweet card...
Cake topper Anya and Ian is one of my ALL-time favorite sets... and i was SUPER happy to have gotten the set for Christmas... aren't they just loving?!?!? ahhh! okay, so my wedding theme had an Asian/Oriental twist to it... and our colors were red and black... so i knew after seeing this DP (sorry can't remember the company) this is what i was going to create... all 3 panels are coordinating DP... the image is colored with my favorite coloring medium - COPICS... ever since i've gotten them, i haven't used anything else... =D gave Anya some eyeshadow that glitters... her beautiful dress is sparkling with frosted lace stickles too... OMGosh, they are so perfect for eachother... on the sketch, there was a circle that i replaced using some flower buds to match those in her hair... i'm so happy with the way this card turned out... and i hope you like it too!

i showed this card to my GF, who came to visit this weekend and she turned to her BF and said, "this is our wedding invitations!" LOL... told her okay maybe not, don't think i'd be able to do 150+ handmade invites (exactly like this)...

i'm finishing up more creations that are still in the works... (did you notice i skipped TGF sketch #3?!? LOL, playing catch up on that one) i should be all caught up in a few days... come back tomorrow for sketch #6 which is a combination for the 12 days of sketches and FFF... Thanks for coming by today... i've missed ALL of you while i was semi-away!! Looking forward to all the great things you've been creating... this week is another busy week with LOTS of exciting things in blogland... Wow-wee!! can't wait... have a beautiful night!!! Hugs!!

Merry, Fairy Christmas to all...

Wednesday is here!! and now we are at only a day away from Christmas! i sure hope you are all well done with your Christmas shopping... i think i am... Quick post today as some unfortunate events have left me drained to the bone... my FBW Team has not let me down, regardless of the situation and so in return i will not let them down... commitment is a big thing for me, so i am as committed to my words as i am to my family... Thank you FBW Sisters!!! BIG HUGS to you all!!!

So here is a new week and a new challenge... Flutter by Wednesday #89.... this week the challenge is OPEN, meaning anything you create goes, as long as your creation INCLUDES a butterfly, fairy, or angel... don't forget to leave a direct link on Danni's blog using Mr. Linky... if uploading to SCS/PCP/Gallery, please use keyword FBW89, so we can flutter by and find you...

With Christmas approaching very quickly, i've used this week's challenge as an opportunity to create one more Christmas card.... and easily said, "We wish you a Merry Christmas!!!!"

Made this card especially for the DH from his 2 little fairies... a truly inspired card by the DDs... it's fun and colorful and brings the magic of Christmas... using Fairy Chloe and Fairy Eva from TGF, i've colored both in the DDs favorite colors... Stickles were used to sparkle their wings... glossy accent on their dresses, for a bit of shine... all the DP you see here are coordinating papers... the snowflakes are punched using scraps of the various papers used on the card...

Can't help but add these fairies to a few challenges...

1. TGF - 12 days of sketches... Sketch #4

2. Anyone for Anya - Last Christmas (card of the year)

Please take some time and visit my FBW sisters... see what they're up to in this week's challenge and be sure to leave them some love!! (links to the team members on my sidebar)

Now i need to get ready for another busy day, but i do THANK YOU for joining me on this post... and i surely hope you can come and play along with us...

With many of you traveling away for the holidays, i'd like to take the time to say... "Have yourself a Merry Christmas! be safe, celebrate, and keep all your family memories of the season close to your heart!"

For you...

Happy Friday!!! Yay, the weekend has just about finally arrived!!! Lots of excitement happened this week and i'm thrilled to have been part of some... =D the whirlwind begins today as i rush to get a few more things on my list and finish up some goodies... oh and i cannot forget the wrapping i still have to do... but in all the craziness that's been happening,i snuck in some craft time to play a few challenges....
i kept this really simply sweet... using Chef Ian (who is perfect for baking up some sweetness) from the TGF line, i colored him up in red and brown... i'm not sure why, but when i think of Christmas baking, i think of this color combo... i was so happy to have found some 3D stickers and this cake sticker fit the platter perfectly... used some extra peppermint candy buttons that i found and glued these cute little gingerbread men buttons on top... the sweet Christmas wishes sentiment was a great addition to this sweet card... at first i thought this really came out plain, but then it grew on me and now i really like it... truly brings out the image and menaing to the card...

so yes, i'll be entering this sweetness to these challenges:

1. LPSC - Honey, you baked! - Baking theme

2. MMSC #32 - sketch with a baking theme

yummy yum yums!!! have a no calorie SWEET day!!! and thank you for stopping by to visit... I enjoy reading all your "Sweet" comments... really keeps a smile on my face... =D

Stocking of Goodies and a Sweet Lei

Happy Tuesday Friends!!! Wow!!! did you all enjoy the Club Anya Holiday Blog Hop last night?!?!? i'm still dizzy from it all.... talk about a non-alcoholic hangover... LOL... If you haven't checked out the hop, head on over to Club Anya and check it out... you still have time to enter one more contest.... and check out the winners too! fabulous creations.... after all, everyone that participated showcased great ideas and beautifully done projects...

well, i was super surprised to have seen one of my creations in the Winner's Circle.... Woohoooo! i can't believe it!! Wow-wee, i'm flying high... and before i continue, i wanna give a huge shout out to ALL THE WINNERS!!! Congrats everyone!!! and another one to THANK the Club Anya team for a wonderful holiday hop!!! =D
this project here was chosen for a title of Candy Cane Crown... Wow! last Christmas i purchased a bunch of mini Christmas stockings that were on sale, because i knew i would use them for something... that something was this.... whipped up 21 mini stockings for DD#1's classmates.... I used the ever so sweet Elf Anya from TGF.... however, Elf Anya was a limited edition and is not available anymore...
the deets... I printed 21 Elf Anyas to fit on the stockings.... cut it in squares.... ironed on some wunderunder (sorry, mispelled it yesterday)... then cut it with my oval scallop nesties, and then ironed it onto the stockings.... from there, i colored each one individually and filled it with some Christmas treats... i wasn't sure how the copics would react with a hot iron being placed directly over the image so i waited until i had it securely on before coloring... DD#1 can't wait to pass these out...
Like i've mentioned, this is fast and simple... i purchase garland when it goes on sale after Christmas to whip up these cuties... using garland as my base, i cut up lots of curling ribbon... i normally use Nip candy but because it's Christmas, i used peppermint nougats... anything that is wrapped with twisty ends will work... starting at one end, i tie one end of the candy with the curling ribbon to the garland... and you repeat until you reach the other end... once complete, you tie the 2 ends together... and there you have your lei..... this can be done for any occasion... i've done some for graduations and birthdays or for those just because moments... with different colored curling ribbon you can make it fit your need... i sure hope DD#1's teacher likes this festive creation to wear...
I'll be back later to share some Christmas RAKs from some dear sisters!! Thank you for taking a moment to share the spotlight with me.... and a incredibly huge Thank you for all the wonderful comments yesterday... I'm so happy you all liked my creations as i was so happy to have made them... i enjoyed reading ALL of the comments.... you all know how to put a smile on a gals face!!!

Pink & Green Christmas

What a beautiful Sunday it is! Hello friends!! hope you all are enjoying the weekend... i still can't believe how time is flying on by.... Christmas will be here in less than 2 weeks and i'm still not ready... managed to wrap a few more presents last night but there is still a mountain of presents... i am working on a few big projects and after that i'll be taking a semi short break to finish things on the home front... i will be particiating with my DT sisters for Flutter by Wednesdays and the Diedrich Dare, so be sure to look out for that... and don't forget the HUGE All Customer Club Anya Blog Hop tomorrow... with the count down to Christmas please don't be alarmed if i miss a day of posting... i'll be okay, just super busy... atleast i think i'll be okay... LOL...

Thank you to my dear friends who showed concern about my super early post yesterday.... LOL... yah, i had 3 hours of sleep... a short, 20 minute nap coming down from the farm and that's it... but Mr. Sandman really had me in a trance last night since i was able to sneak in 7 hours of sleep... =D

i have a card to show you today, that will be entered for the following challenges:

1. MMSC #31 - Sketch with a winter theme

2. LLWWC #16 - Pink and Green I got this cutesy LaLa Fairy in the mail on Friday and just couldn't help but inking her up... isn't she cute?! she's colored in with copics and glittered with diamond and cotton candy stickles... i embossed the white CS with the cuttlebug snowflake folder and the pink CS with the swiss dots folder... used my nesties to shape out the the focal as well as the half circles... the green greetings paper is by Imaginisce Christmas line... a Snowflake Christmas

Yay for Thursday!! i just have to survive one more day... LOL... i guess i was extra exhausted today from the party last night... but hey, i still finished my card! came home for lunch and was suppose to rest up... instead, i was crafting... LOL... does the addiction ever end?!?! ummm, NO! i guess i had withdrawals from not crafting last night...

well, i went to take a look at this week's challenge at ATS and guess what?!?! it's to use SNOWFLAKES!! my fave!! so you know i couldn't pass up this challenge... =D oh, be sure to check their blog because some of the rules have changed...
i hope you're not getting tired of seeing this Angel Anya... i just love her and she's PERFECT for Christmas... you can snatch her up at TGF... this card is snowflaked out! i used both my MS and Marvy punches... found this snowflake DP from last year's American Crafts Christmas line... added rhinestones and glitter to the snowflakes... Anya's wings and white hair streaks have diamond stickles gg for that extra sparkle.... and i used my oval scallop nestie to cute her out... Wow! my fave color, my fave thought of Christmas and one of my fave Anyas... couldn't get better than that... i hope you get flaky with snow too!

i'm working on lots of things in the craft room... jumping project to project... wish me luck that another hurricane doesn't hit the room... LOL... Thanks for coming by... you ALL are such sweet ANGELS!!!

Sweet Wishes...

alright! i'm back and i think i'm functioning properly! LOL... after waking up a little later than planned, we made it to the doctor's in time... girls got their h1n1 shot today and hooray for no one cried!!! =D then it was off to Wally world to pick up some vitamins and some household things... then off to the post office to wait in the long lines and mail out some goodies (no, i'm not even close to being done...) my goal this week is to finish it ALL and have it mailed out on Saturday... wish me luck! LOL... and i couldn't pass up a trip to the craft store... did little damage there... =D

i have some sweetness to show... a little something i've been putting together for some kiddies... i'm entering this package into the ATS - Anything Christmas challenge...
{click on the picture to enlarge}

so here's some Christmas goodie bags that i've stuffed... i used the Candy Cane Mice digi from TGF... it's just the sweetest image to color up... colored these friendly mice in Christmas colors with a touch of stickles to various parts of the image... the yummy sweet DP is from the Merry mint American Craft collection and Imaginisce... it's so yummy! Sweet Christmas Wishes sentiment by Dandelion Designs is stamped on the back (sorry, the back is already personalized so i didn't take a picture) Lots of yummy items in these packages and i'm hoping the kiddies that receive them will enjoy!

it's another busy week and my craft room is a total MESS as i'm trying to finish up lots of projects that are incomplete... i cannot even see my desk or my big shot as lots of things are piled everywhere... LOL... i think i have to clean some of it up, atleast to give me some working space... =D

Thank you for all the beautiful comments you leave daily... i appreciate all your words of encouragement and support! it all means everything to me... THANK YOU!!!

okay... back to crafting i go! hope everyone is having an awesome new week!

Oh Snap!

Happy Saturday!!! it's a beautiful day here in Hawaii! Sun is out and there is a little breeze... wanted to post before we head up to the farm... i have my craft bag packed and i'm ready to go... i think... LOL... it's so peaceful up there that i just color color color...

this card i'm showing you will be entered in the following challenges:

1. LPS Monday - Recycle it! recycle an LPS sketch of your choice... i chose LPSC02...

2. La-La Land #15 - Buttons, buttons, buttons! need i say more...

3. Cute Card Thursday #89 - Swirly girly! They wanna see your girly girl creations...

4. FFF Color Challenge #1 - Use the colors Choclate Chip, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze and Whisper White... but it doesn't have to be the exact colors, as long as it is similar...

I used Madelynn from the Twinkle Tots line at TGF... I just LOVE coloring her up.... i don't have the exact colors but i compromised to shades that were sorta similar... while at the craft store yesterday i happened onto the perfect papers... A gift of love collection by Bo Bunny... i just fell in love with the patterns and the gorgeous color combos... i have to go back for more... =D i printed the sentiment "Oh snap!" on the computer and cut it with my nesties... the ribbon is a soft blue with brown lining and i used the buttons to give the card some embellies... the white parts on the image have fun flock on it except for the socks... i added some frosted lace stickles to parts of her flower and on the blue on her shoes... Isn't she the sweetest?!?!

well, i'm sorry to have to run like this but my Dad is already calling my phone wondering where we are?! "i'm coming Dad!" LOL... we're only an hour late of heading up the mountain... =D i'll be back later with one more card! Have a beautiful day!!! Hugs!!
