Hop, Hop, Hop with Sister Stamps! Day #3

It's Day #3 and you're still party hopping with Sister Stamps!!!  Sister Stamps Release #8 bringing you the most CUTE celebration images!!  We are still here, counting down the hours until the BIG ONE YEAR BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION OF SISTER STAMPS!!!  Wooooohooooooo!!!  Once again, before i begin my post, i want to shout out a humungous CONGRATS to Jenny and Denise (owners of Sister Stamps) for a huge accomplish WELL done!!!  Congrats Jenny, Denise and Sister Stamps!  One year has flown by so fast because we are absolutely LOVING all the images you have brought forward to the crafting world!  Thank you for bringing us exclusively designed images and we are looking forward to MANY MORE celebrations with you!  can i get another HOORAY?!?!?!

So, i'm curious....  what is your FAVE image so far?  if you say ALL, you're right on track....  hehehehe!  Donna's blog should have made you hop onto mine, but if you've gotten here by chance, i do suggest you head to the beginning of this party hop on the Sister Stamps blog...  be sure you visit each and every blog listed in order so you don't miss out on anything!  there are prizes being given away on the Sister Stamps blog and Debi has some treats to give away on her blog too!  so really, don't hop off this party train!

It's Mariko's time to shine today!!  She is the last of Release #8 that i'm sharing with you...  and i've changed up the type of celebration to show you how versatile these images can be...
Taddduh!  Thank you Christmas cards...  Mariko is so giving and she is also so grateful...  Mariko is great to spice up a bridal shower creation, or even to welcome a new baby...  Today she is giving thanks!  while going through my sentiment pile of stamps, i came across this sentiment stamp by Dandelion Designs - 'Thank you for the Christmas gift!' and immediately set Mariko aside for some cards....  fitting don't you think?  summoning up scraps from my Christmas stash i put these wonderful postcard type Christmas thank you cards together...  likey? (where's my like button?! Ha!)  these make great thoughts of appreciation for those wonderful gifts you receive...  change up the papers and it can be thank you cards for any holiday or occasion...  i did keep these a little simpler than i normally do...  a big part of the lack is my Christmas stuff is buried under piles and piles of things...  and i mean PILES!  ask Jenny, she'll laugh in agreement...  hehehe!  of course, i can always add to it at the time i'm ready to send these out...

See, even though all 3 images are being released for a huge CELEBRATION, you don't have to think of them as just party images...  they can be used for ANY-thing...

There is one last reason why i saved Mariko and this creation for last (even if a little out of what i'm trying to say)...  A very big THANK YOU to Sister Stamps, Jenny and Denise, for allowing me to be apart of Sister Stamps adventures and for having me be apart of this WONDERFUL and BIG celebration!!!  THANK YOU!!!   May you both continue your passions in sharing and creating and may Sister Stamps have many many many more successful years of celebration!!! Bonsai!

Ok, i had to throw in the Bonsai!  LOL...  Thanks for coming by today and now i'm sending you over to Linda's blog....  hmmm, i wonder what fun you'll have hopping onto her blog today?!

Sister Stamps Release #8 debuts TOMORROW, July 1st!!!  so head to the nearest retailer or online site to get your hands on ALL in this release!

made... WITH LOVE!

O-M-Goodness!!! can you believe?!?! i'm POSTING!!! LOL... yes, this past weekend crafting was not a choice of wanting to but HAVING to... hehehe!

Happy Monday and Happy Valentine's Day Eve... hahahaha! how many of you truly think Valentine's day is OVERrated?! now be honest! LOL.... guess being married i don't need the whole lovey dovey dinner for 2 and a movie... instead, i rather have a nice family dinner with the kiddies included and some yummy dessert! and maybe a disney movie... now that is a way to celebrate... but don't let my choices fool you... i'm still and probably will always be a hopeless romantic!! yes, i love love songs and love stories and fairytales... hehehe! what are you doing with your SWEETHEART this Valentine's?

New challenge over at Lollipop Crafts! last week you saw our Valentine's cards... this week we want you to kick up a notch and create anything BUT a card... the challenge... #67 - WITH LOVE! create anything such as 3D items, scrap pages, alterables, etc... and then head on over to the LC blog and link up with InLinkz... =)

We are sponsored this week by Karber Stamps! Karber's offer an array of CUTE images available both in digital format and rubber! Stay tuned for our sponsor spotlight this Thursday on the LC blog... more info on this SWEET company and prize info...

ready for my TREAT?!?
CANDY STICKS!!! they are all the rage around Hawaii.... so i finally did some... i bought the candy stick bags last year and haven't used them until now... these sweet treats are filled with plain M&Ms and topped with a cutesy and easy topper using the scalloped heart and happy 'heart' day sentiment from Dandelion Designs Fuzzy Bear 1 set.... LOVE the set... it's so cute and can be used for any occasion... i then tied a pencil to the candy stick... hope the 3rd graders enjoy this simple treat made WITH LOVE!!

after making these for about 23 students, i realized that next school year, i'll be doubling all my treats that need to be made as DD2 starts Kindergarten!! eek! i think i have to start like NOW to be finished with Halloween... LOL... that's ok, i have about 2 years that i'll have to do the doubles and then a 2 year break with only one in elementary, and then i'll be doubling again... yah, i think once the kids are pass elementary and into intermediate i won't have to do too much... HA! i can hope right?!?

well, it's been such a long time that it does feel really good to post again... come back sometime this week to see what else i've been creating in prep for Valentine's day and DD1's classmates and hula sisters! THANK YOU so very much for sticking with me through my off and on postings... i'm hoping i get more time to craft in between everything else soon... i do miss everyone and wish i could set aside more time to visit and share... cross fingers i get my groove back real soon! until then... see yah, WITH LOVE....

Spooky fun treat totes!

Guess you can say i survived the weekend and the endless hours at the fair!! am glad it only comes once a year though... i'm exhausted! hoping you had a great weekend too!

Lollipop Crafts Challenge #51 - Halloween... yup, it's Monday and time for a new challenge... this week we are giving you a head start on those Halloween projects that you may be procrastinating on (i know i usually do, hehe)... create a card/project with a Halloween theme and link it up... be sure to get all the deets on how to play along with us this week from the LC blog, and while you're there, soak in all the Spook-tastic creations by the Lollipop Girls... i'm sure they'll inspire you to join us...

our fabulous sponsor for this challenge is Meljen's Designs... and they do have some CUTE Halloween images for you to use on your creations... go check them out! a wonderful prize is up for grabs for one lucky random player... so don't forget to link your projects... and now i take you to my creations...

revisted an easy treat bag/tote... made these for DD1's hula sisters... total of 19 but they all couldn't fit in the pix... love making these, because there isn't much measuring and cutting... sorry i don't have instrux on them... i bascially CASEd one i received as a RAK... but you can use a 12x12 sheet cut down to 4x12, smaller or bigger depending on what you want... i went with 4x12 as it gives enough room to stuff with lots of goodies...

anyone else like me that stocks up on holiday paper for use the next year?? the DP is from K&Co last year's Halloween line... i find it easier to stock up on holiday papers while i have a chance in efforts to work on projects ahead of time and in case i can't find them when needed... yah, wishful thinking... haven't touched them until now... haha! since the DP is thin and wrinkles easily, i used AC CS to line the top and bottom and to form the base... this gives the bag some sturdiness... instead of doing 2 handles like i did on previous ones, i went with just one handle...

the totes are filled with non-edible goodies-pencil, stickers, activity pad, bracelets, spider rings, oh and a lollipop, the only edible thing for now... i'm trying not to buy the edibles too early... i have a 40lb little mouse that visits my craft room often and likes to sneak some yummies... =D here's a close up of the bottom strip... used the EK Success spider web border punch... i just love this.... was trying to look for small spiders to add on, but no luck...
this is the little tags i created and tied to the handles to make it look like a little key chain or bag chain... whatever they are called... LOL... i used my eyelet circle nestie, worked out great cause i didn't have to punch any holes for the ribbon... used the "trick or treat" sentiment from TGF's Spooktacular set, Dandelion Designs spider web stamp layered on top some DP scraps from a previous project and then layered onto the nestie... simple... DD1 can then write her name on the back...

so what will YOU be creating this Halloween?!? we would LOVE to see your creations so link them up with InLinkz on LC's blog...

time for me to grab my broom and fly on outta here... OMG, did i just admit i'm a witch?! LOL.... i meant to say spread my wings.... i'm a fairy remember... haha!! thanks for flying by today... i hope your stop here put a spell on you to make some magic and play along... =D

Trick or TREAT?!

Hiya!! sorry i haven't been around much lately... on my blog at the least... just trying to catch up on a bunch of things, plus prep for upcoming craft fairs and holidays... and of course by now you know it's never ending on my end.... LOL...

i've got some treats to share with you today... my BFF sent me a template of the sizzix XL scoreboard caddy and over the weekend i was busy tracing and cutting and assembling... and this is what i've done...
these caddies are perfect for Halloween treats and TGF's Spooktacular set was the perfect size to dress the caddies up... aren't they CUTE?! caddies are embellished very simple with just the image and the Trick or Treat sentiment (also apart of the set) and DP from K&Co...
the goodies that are stuffed inside... activity book, pencil, mini bubbles, mini stamp, notepad and a yummy carmel apple lollipop.... mmmmm!
here it is all nicely wrapped up in a plastic bag with Halloween ribbon to keep it closed and an easy peasy tag... did you notice i'm missing one?! i ran out of the clear bags... guess that means a shopping trip to the craft store, LOL... the to/from sentiment is from Dandelion Designs small enough to stamp on any type of tag and the Happy Halloween is also from TGF's Spooktacular set... oh and i had to add some punched border bats.. =D the treats fit into TGF's FFCB Farm Fresh Friday Halloween challenge so i'm gonna link it up! have you linked up yet?!

Halloween will be here before we know it, so you'll be seeing more Halloween creations around my blog in the next few weeks... i'm hoping to get all that i need to get done before Halloween... it'd be nice to not rush for a change... hehehe! yah right, me finish before the deadline?? i think i work better under pressure... haha!

thanks for stopping in today... i'll be back tomorrow with my journal page! toodles for now!

A special birthday card....

Hello there.... well today is a very special day for 2 very special people in my life.... although not here in physical form, my Grandpa would be celebrating his 75th birthday today along with his sister, whom growing up was like a mother to me... No, they are not twins, just happened to be born on the same day in different years...

but anyway, paying our respects to Grandpa, we will be heading to the grave yard to clean his grave, put some flowers and a can of his favorite beer... i miss him a lot, and when holidays and birthdays come around, i miss him even more... i apologize if i get teary eyed and shed a few... but to understand it better, my Grandpa and Grandma were the ones that raised me, so i'm very very close to them... i was only in intermediate school when Grandpa was sent home with the angels and it was a very devasting time in my life... it was the one time i was very mad at the world and couldn't understand why! Aunty had a part in raising me too, when Grandpa and Grandma was at work i'd be with her... til this day, i share a very wonderful relationship with her...

since my aunty is still here with us and plays a very important part in my children's lives as well, i created a special card to help her celebrate her birthday from the kids (and me and the hubs)...
Dandelion Designs stamps are adorable and the most PERFECT for this celebration... i used the images from both the Friends and Sweet Wishes sets... of course on this card these images represent my 3 kiddies and ummmm, our dog i guess, except he's not brown but black... hehe! the sentiment on top is from Stampettes and the sentiment on the bottom is from Stampendous.... Aunty loves the color yellow so i incorporated it into this card as much as possible... the background is yuzen paper that i had a stash of and i used oval nesties for the images, with again, the out of the box technique.... i'm hoping Aunty will like this card...

Happy Birthday Grandpa and Aunty!!!

well then, that's it for today... i wish you all well and thank you tremendously for coming here are supporting my creations and leaving your wonderful comments... be back soon with more sharings... toodles!!

"I"ce cream - You're SWEET!

oh boy! does it have to be thursday already?!? with each passing day this week into next, i feel the stress getting stronger... almost a week away from the biggest celebration we have much anticipated.... but don't worry, the forseen hasn't overcome my good moods! =D

Today over at Lollipop Crafts, we are spotlighting one of our fabulous monthly sponsors....
Meljen's Designs!! oh yes!! all the cutesy whimsical images you could ever see.... Meljen's carries a wide selection of wonderful images for every occasion... you just have to take a look at the store....
my creation features "double scoop ice cream".... since we are still in celebration mode over at Lollipop Crafts, this was perfect for the occasion... this image could be used for any occasion... my fun and colorful doodlebug paper scraps played a key in using this SWEET image this week.... Ahh, isn't it just cute?!? you're sweet sentiment is from Dandelion Designs...

for those of you experiencing HOT weather (we always have it in Hawaii, so it's no big change for us) i hope this creation will help keep you "cool" and inspired to maybe treat yourself to something sweet!

Thanks for joining me!! and THANKS for all the wonderful comments!! btw, so with the help of your suggestions/opinions, i decided not to add more to the treat bags... you're right, it looks great the way it is!! Thanks! stop in tomorrow for..... ummm... yah i don't know what i'll be sharing yet... hmm, i ran into some "problems" with my table deco so that probably won't be shown til next week... guess you'll just have to wait and see... ta-ta!!

Kick off for Christmas?!?!

Hiya!! poppin' in this early tuesday morning for a quick sharing.... i'm actually playing in a challenge... amongst everything else i'm suppose to be doing i wanted a little "free" play.... i can't even tell you how super stumped i was making this card... it's like Ms. Creativity went on vacay or something without telling me.... you know, the last freedom ride for summer... gonna have to have a talk with her... LOL... really though, i did have a hard time finishing but was absolutely determined to finish it since it was partially complete...

challenge over at ATS this week is CHRISTMAS in JULY! perfect for a kick start to making those Christmas cards, gift ideas, tags, etc.... and the good man knows i NEED a kick start!! but i can bet you i'll probably procrastinate again! haha! lately that has been the word in my craft world... man would some one just delete the word entirely?! hehe... i'd be better off if the word was not part of the vocabulary or in the dictionary... dream on right?! well, here is what i came up with by winging it...
totally plain if you ask me... if not for the pretty papers i guess you could say... papers are pretty busy itself and i couldn't really find the right embellies to stand out... my solution... slap on a sentiment (from Dandelion Designs) and just a touch of rhinestones (yah it blends into the papers) and leave it like it is.... not even the border punch i wanted to use would go with it... ahhh, no stress papers worked it's magic... and CC Designs Sugarplum Santa Emma is the steal of the show anyway... =D i fun flocked the white parts of her outfit and Santa hat, something i love to do when i can... hmmm, maybe when i pull this card out again for the holiday season i'll find something to dress it up a little more... what do you vote?! leave as is?

okie dokie.... way past my bedtime... told myself i need to start sleeping a little earlier... obviously it's not happening... LOL... i just enjoy the silence of the night crafting.... no interruptions or disruptions... just me and my craft supplies... ahhh! privileged pleasures.... too bad i kinda hit the crafting stump.... oh well, hope for a better craft day later today... Ciao for now!

Hello Happy Monday!!! did you all have a wonderful weekend?! i sure hope so! my weekend was busy... but when am i not busy??? LOL... i had fun though...

Helped out at the Paper Party at BFC on Saturday which was lots of fun.... didn't get to see what the other girls were doing, but i still had fun with my make n' take and meeting and chatting with people... received many awesome compliments on my samples table which was truly the highlight of the day... hope i made an impression to sell some BFC products, hehe!... THANKS to the wonderful staff at BFC for a FANTABULOUS day!

so, here are the other 2 tags in my 4 tag make n' take....
the most wonderful thing about prepping the tags was i got to use a lot of paper scraps... still not enough to bring down the pile though... the tag to the left was made using the jumbo clever lever tag punch and the center solid CS was using spellbinders label 4 nestie... that was all premade and all they had to do was punch out the little cupcake pieces, adhere together on the tag and add a dew drop for the cherry/sprinkles.... the second tag was premade too... using scallop circle and circle nesties i precut the tags... on the solid white CS i stamped the cute Panda present image from Dandelion Designs and added the to/from (also from DD) inside the box... all they had to do was color the image and adhere the circles.... simple yah?!

alright... my back hurts a little from "rearranging" the craft room yesterday! LOL... yes i did a little more than clean... in fact, i basically just rearranged and have yet to attack and go through all the craft containers and really clean... i think i need a bit more of magic dust to get me going on that... hehe! nonetheless the craft room is more spacious and somewhat cleaned and organized... i'm ready to get crafting again! i'll try to today after what seems like our endless errands... but until my next creation to share, take care and i'll be back soon!

Cards for Japan

Howdy peeps! how are you all doing this fine Friday?! hope all well and bombarded in crafting like me... i totally forgot that today was the last day of the summer program for DD1!! yikes! what happened to summer?!? the new school year is right around the corner! so yesterday i was doing some last minute treat bags for her group leaders (i'll share that later)... man oh man it just slipped my mind... so i do apologize this post is a tad bit late....

have a few cards to share with you today that i will be donating to Ben Franklin Crafts Make n Give event happening this Saturday, July 23rd as well as next Saturday, July 30th... BFC will have a table for you to visit to make a card to send to Japan in their efforts of sharing Aloha... this will take place at all Hawaii BFC locations and i will be at the Kahului, Maui store...

these cards were also made to sample an embossing folder demo i'll be doing too.... you likey?!?
click the photos to make it bigger.... you'll be able to see the embossing better.... the blue card features TGF's Geisha Anya and the Kanji is an old set from Stampin' up! the embossing folder used on this one is from Sizzix called garden flowers, a nice embossed border folder... the other card is simple with a strip of yuzen paper over white CS embossed using Cuttlebug swiss dots... i embossed washi paper, using a smaller embossing folder from the Sizzix birthday set, to show that you can emboss any type of paper... oops just noticed i forgot to add a sentiment... hehe
i used Stampin' up! elegant bouquet embossing folder on the yellow card and added some rhinestones to the mids... kanji on this is another retired SU! set... last card has the border embossing folder from Sizzix's HK spring set 2 that i sanded a bit to show some white... image is from Dandelion Designs cling Friends set and sentiment from TGF's Anya says...

very simple cards you can do in minutes.... some might be a little hesitant to use embossing folders not knowing the full capacity of it and they probably think no one will notice the image anyway, but with a little color, bling, sanding or even pretty papers and a cute stamp will help to bring out your embossed creations... use your imagination and put your creativity to work and you'll have loads of fun with embossing folders... i know i do and i LOVE mine!

alright, 2am and it's past my bedtime... LOL... gonna catch some zzzzs and hopefully i'll have time later today to finish up more cards and few other things like packing up everything and TRY-ing to go to bed at a decent time... hahahaha! long fun day tomorrow and i'm excited to see the other demos and make n' takes... probably won't post until Sunday if i'm not too tired so if nothing from me over the weekend i'll see yah back here on Monday! Have a FABULOUS weekend everyone!!

Phew! did i survive the weekend?? guess so huh! LOL... had to catch my breathe yesterday for all the excitment in blogland last week! did you all enjoy Amy's Sweet November previews? all the images are available now at ATS! so go get 'em!!

this week, i've got a few creations to share with you as i've been busy in between setting up for previews with creating and playing along in some challenges... so my blog will be full of life this week! or i can hope right?! =D things always seem to come up!! haha!

why not start off today with a creation for the challenge at ATS - Anything Goes....

i've been hoarding this gorgeous blue washi paper for some time now and when i received a special gift from one of my blogging sisters, i just knew i had a perfect pair... and i have to say that this is my FIRST ever Magnolia stamp (along with one that came with this one ) added to my stamp collection! love Magnolias and all their cuteness and i think i might have to start collecting these... hehe! anyway, the image was perfect with the washi paper and the colors very bright and royal... different shades of blue (my FAVE) with gold... used the SU! lattice squares embossing folder that i just LOVE to add texture and i had a stash of gold ribbon to accent and bring out the gold outlines... and if you look really good at the image, i've even added some sakura dust gold ink to her kimono and flowers... sentiment is from Dandelion Designs...

well, thanks for coming by today! hope this card sparks some inspiration for you to craft! have a great week and i'll be back tomorrow!!

You're sweet!!

spotlight Thursday at Lollipop Crafts has sneaked up again!! Wow, the week kinda flew by huh?! i feel like i'm still in weekend mode only to realize it's almost the weekend again! LOL...

Thank you for all the sweet comments on my daughter's creations yesterday!! she's a little shy with the attention to her cards, but is very THANKFUL you liked it!!

check out Lollipop Crafts today and get the deets on our fabulous sponsor this week, Robyn's Fetish!! cute images for any occasion and the best thing is the images can be versatile too... there's still time to join in the challenge if you haven't already done so... so what are you waiting for?!?! do you need some inspiration?!?

here's my creation using Loretta Angel... i hope she inspires you to get crafty... i used her to make some thank you cards... kept the layout very simple as i had to make a few... reflected on the sketch from TGF FFCB from last week's WOW... i just love the sketch!! sentiment is from Dandelion Designs and i had to add some punched flowers and leaves cause i thought it was just pretty like that... hehe! the papers are so pretty you'll never guess where i found them! on a browsing day to kill time this past weekend we went to Ross'... every now and then i can find good deals in the very tiny crafting section... these pretty papers were found there... it's from We R memory Keepers, the Hoopla line... next time you're in Ross' you'll just have to look.... i actually found a bunch of great papers there... from big companies like DCWV, Making Memories, etc... some are sold as the whole paper stack and some are sold as sampler packs... and cheap too! this is the inside... i used the coordinating paper scraps to add color inside and used the SU! top note die stamped with some mix and match Hero Arts sentiments to complete my cards... now all that's left is to address and send it on it's way....

so i hope this creation got your mojo going to craft, craft, CRAFT!! Thanks so much for visiting today!! i hope you'll stop by again!!

Inking for a spotlight...

uh-oh... sorry but i have my days mixed up... so you're just gonna have to wait to see what' s hoppin' all over my desk... i'll post tomorrow... =D so, wow! Thursday is here and that means the weekend is approaching... quicker than expected... but that also means i need to get moving on prepping for the last craft fair for this season... AAHHH! can i just cry? i really want to just curl up in bed and be lazy... ok may be not... hehe... Thursday Sponsor Spotlight over at Lollipop Crafts today and we are featuring...... INKY IMPRESSIONS!! Thank you Inky for the wonderful sponsorship this week!!! there is still time to play for a chance to win ONE stamp of your choice, so come out and play with us... Deets about the company and a few samples are being featured on the LC blog so hop on over there...

and here's my card featuring Flower Lili (another of my faves).... ok, wanna know a funny story... i was actually searching for some supplies (that i still haven't found) and ended up stumbling on this image... talk about last minute as i prepped this card to the very last hour before it was due... these color choices are not my normal style (as in mixing them), but hey, i just LOVED the papers... and they are all coordinating... hehe!

there is a challenge happening over at the Inky blog... Challenge #13 - Flowers.... and i guess i'm entering this... why not huh?!

the papers are all by Bo Bunny (Petal Pushers)... the sentiment is from Dandelion Designs... ribbon from AC and the scattered pearls are from E.Line... also used that pretty flower punch from MS... flowers, flowers, everywhere!! i finally used some glossy accents on her shirt, ribbon on her hat and matching patch on her jeans... i made a small boo boo on the other patch and decided to add a layer and pop it up... same with the flower she is holding... not bad for such a last minute creation huh?!

go and see what else is featured on the LC blog and show them Lollipop Girls some LOVE.... alrighty, time for me to jump on out of here... for real, come back tomorrow to see what's hoppin'!!! =D Have a fabulous day!!!

Doomo...

**Second post for today... please scroll down to check out what's taggin'! Thank you!!**

Hello again!! thanks for all the fabulous comments on my tags... it was really fun in the making... so last night during one of our virtual gatherings, my dear friend Cami gave me a push to create something with one of my new craft toys... and if she didn't, it would have still been in the box... LOL... so here it is....
using Geisha Anya from TGF (boy did i have a hard time coloring her hair) she was a perfect pair to some things NEW... new as is my new MS cherry blossom border punch, washi paper, sentiment from Dandelion Designs and some new pearls (as in i had to buy more)... can't tell in the photo but i dabbed some glitter in the centers of the blossoms and also on the flowers on her kimono... the blossoms around the sentiment was just pieces i cut off from the border...

lots of 'new' on this creation... after a bit of debating i've decided to gives this a go for a few challenges....

1. TGF's Farm Fresh Challenges - Farm Fresh Friday - Into the NEW

2. All That Scraps - Anything Goes

Oh and i surprised my self by completing the inside too.... =D
used 2 different sizes of sakura (cherry blossom) stamps and lavender and angel pink memento ink and stamped the images on the white CS... then i added this sentiment from Hero Arts (another new thing i recently bought). whatcha think?

alright... time for me to hit the chores and then get ready for a busy wednesday afternoon... come back tomorrow for another creation!! Have a GREAT day and THANKS for visiting!!!

No brainer fun!

she's late! she's late! YES, i'm late!! what else is new right?! i'm trying to blog on a regular basis and well.... let's not go there... LOL... i'm seriously trying to manage 5 millions things at once... back to my late nighters AGAIN, 4 hours of sleep, 24 hours of mommy time, 12 hours of wifey time (more if hubby is home), 4 hours of house work and many hours of work/crafting... hey wait, that doesn't add up to 24 hours... oh well, that's my schedule... are they really serious when they say there's only 24 hours in a day? ;D

monday night was all about finishing "some" incomplete projects and then i got carried away making tags (ugh hello, projects, not create a new project)... really, because it can be a no brainer, i had more fun making that then finishing the unfinished... haha! i know i'll pay for the lack in the long run...

i'm putting together some gifts sets for this saturday's craft event and wanted tags to accompany the gifts... so i started off making a few, then i just couldn't stop! my gifts sets (will share soon) are versatile for any upcoming occassions (Easter, Mother's Day, Teacher's Appreciation, Admin Day, etc) so i couldn't just do Easter tags... i did a few for different celebrations and some plain any occassion ones...

*sentiments shown on tags are from various companies that include TGF, Dandelion Designs and Hero Arts.

ok, it is almost 3am and i should be tucked in bed... calling it a night (or morning)... Thanks for stopping by today and checking in with my craziness!! I appreciate all of your support and wonderful comments and i SO APPRECIATE YOU!! Hugs!!

Lollipop Girl Tammy is hosting Challenge #32 - Shape Up - create a non-square or non-rectangle card! time to use your imagination and create a card using a different shape.... nesties might come in handy with this challenge....

Our sponsor this week is Just Some Lines and they are offering a fantastic prize... be sure to hit the LC blog for the details on this challenge and stay tuned for a sponsor spotlight on Just Some Lines there too... Thank you Just Some Lines!!

Here's my creation for this challenge...

My nesties sure came in handy to create this card.... i used one of the Baby Bunnies created by Amy Y. (it's available at ATS) as my choice of image... had this cutie almost a year now and haven't inked him up until now... flocked hiw little tail and white in his hears and glittered up the daffodil he's holding... also added the "just for you" sentiment from one of TGF's sets and scattered a few primas with rhinestone middles... inside is stamped using the Dandelion Designs sentiment "Happy Easter, Honey Bunny!"... and voila! a cute Easter card....

Please visit the rest of the Lollipop Girls! the links to their blogs are on my sidebar... check out what shape up cards they have to share with you today and leave them some sugar!

Anything but a card at Lollipop Crafts!

Hiya Friends!! Oh my how fast the weekend has gone by.... it was a super super busy one for me... and i'm liking the fact i don't have to do any late nighters this week... i need sleep!! LOL, and hopefully i'll get some this week! i have a lot of catching up to do on that... =D

So yes, the weekend or last week in general, has been super busy with sleepless nights and then finally doing the Keiki Karnival... but i'll rant about that tomorrow... today's posting is all about the new challenge this week at Lollipop Crafts!!! Yep, and it's hosted by ME!!! Challenge #25 - Anything but a card!

our wonderful sponsor this week is Meljen's Designs and another great prize is being awarded... head on over to Lollipop Crafts and check out the DEBUT creations for this challenge from the DT2 Lollipop Girls!! oh and it's an amazing and SWEET showcase of creativity!! be warned, you'll be on a sugar rush!!

here's my creation this week!

so i'm still learning how to use my Cinch and i figured, why not try it for this week's challenge... so, with that thought, i created this notepad.... i think out of all the Meljen's images, "Tutu Sweet" is by far, my most FAVE!! Of course she is, i always use her... hehe! she's just, well, Tutu Sweet! very versatile and you can color her up to match any paper you want to use... so for my notepad, i used this hearts in rainbow colors paper and colored her up in rainbow colors... the sentiment is from Dandelion Designs and i couldn't resist adding some rhinestones, in hearts shapes too...

ok, this week i have a lot to share... maybe some pre-posting will help me out... haha, yah right! before i head off, i just want to wish a very sweet and loving blog sister a SUPER SWEET and HAPPY BIRTHDAY! as she celebrates her birhdhay today!!! You know who you are!! and hey, if you know who it is too, then please hop on her blog and wish her a FABULOUS day!!

Thanks for checking out my blog today!!! hope this inspires you to think outside the "card" and join us... all the 411 you need on how to play with us this week can be found on the Lollipop Crafts blog! Ciao for now!!! Hugs!

Another attempt at a shaker card!

Happy Sunday!! hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!! Friday was such a wonderful crafting day for me!! finally, YAY! LOL... i managed to finish 3 cards and a baby album... wow, that was a lot for me in a day... hehe! the day ended with a few burnt fingertips but i'm still surviving... =D

also got to blurf on Friday and pick up some inspirations from some GFs of mine... which helped a lot trying to create... had to finish up 2 graduation cards (that i failed to take a picture of since i was in a hurry to get it in the mail) and a challenge card...

today i share with you my challenge card for La-La lands Weekly Wednesday Challenge #40 - Nestie Shaped Card.... this challenge is issued by DT memeber 1LuvnMama.... Thanks sweetie, i don't think i've ever used a nestie as the base of my card... =D here it is...

i wanted to use a nestie that would give me room to create so i used the square scalloped nestie... after blurfing and checking out my GF Joy's creations, she inspired me to try and do a shaker card... Joy is really the shaker queen and all her shaker creations are wonderful... check her out... i've done a shaker before and i don't do them often so it was nice to try again... always pick up my mistakes after doing one... with this one, i used the wrong kind of beads, it's not really small enough to get a full shaking effect but it will do... i used Lala Mermaid, one of the new stamps i just purchased from Lala Land... and cut her to fit into the window area... although you cannot tell, i used wave DP for the card... also used the sun stamp from Dandelion Designs and punched some fishes to add to the framing... and of course, ribbon!

do you all like it??? i have to work on the shaker technique a little more but i do like the way this creation turned out... my concept was there... LOL!

hubby and some friends want to go fishing today... and the kids are asking for some beach time... so i guess that's on our agenda... so like yesterday, i don't think i'll have any crafting time unless i get my buns moving now... hmmm, yah, i don't think so... i'm still a little sleepy... hehe! i'll share with you the photo album i put together on Friday tomorrow... so come and check that out too... it was really hard not to add frilly girly things like lace, but i think it came out well otherwise... for a boy anyway... Hope you all have a wonderful rest of today and i'll check you out soon!!

it's a DOUBLE DARE!!

{{Please scroll down for Flutter by Wednesday #110... Thank you bunches!!}}

Time for Whimsical Wednesday - The Diedrich Dare and today is a DOUBLE DARE #36... issued by the darling daughters of team member Heather, Willow and Piper are giving you your choice sketch... and both are fabulously wonderful!! take a look at these...

didn't i tell you the sketches are wonderful!!! i really wanted to do both, but my mojo was slipping away a little... so i had enough time to complete one... i used Piper's sketch which was a huge challenge for me... she used the whole front as the card... took me a few hours to just think about what to create and i ended up with this...
i used one piece of paper and created a little scene... the stamps i've used were, Pixie from CC Designs, roses from the TGF fancy fleurs set, the sun is from Dandelion Designs and the sentiment is from Hero Arts... phew, not bad for the Dare's Mix it up May theme this month huh?! hehe... i chalked the sky background and added the butterflies... not to mention Piper LOVES butterflies... =D i really hope i did her sketch proud!!!
please visit the rest of the Daredevils... here's the members that are playing the challenge this week...
will you be DOUBLE dared this week to join us at the Dare??? if so, please gather all the deets on the Dare blog and don't forget to leave a direct link on Mr.Linky to your creation... if uploading to SCS/PCP, please use keyword DDSC36... i'm excited to see which one of these girls are going to dare you to play along... can't decided between the 2, why not give them both a try!! Have a whimsical wednesday!!
