What's up Thursday!! you came by too fast.... LOL... hello friends.... how are you all doing?!? THANK YOU SO MUCH for the sweet comments this week... i assure you that i am getting the rest i need... somewhat... ;D schedule is still crazy as ever but i did pen in (not pencil) SLEEP! hehe! don't know for how much longer though... i've got some things pending that i just know will come up soon... for now, i'm enjoying a sorta stress-free week... kinda... =D

my card features one of their cute designs called "It's a dragonfly day".... thought it would make a perfect birthday card... i used some colorful Doodlebug paper and embossed some yellow CS with my swiss dots embossing folder and added some polka dot ribbon... the sentiment is from Hero Arts that i fitted to the large spellbinder double ended tag and secured it to the card with some brads... and some stickles on the dragonfly wings, a dab on the flower petals and the leaves.... quick and easy...

i'm so sorry i don't have a creation for the challenge today!! =( i was just crazy busy with the party that i had no time to create freely or even ahead... now that the party is over i can get back into a normal routine.. or so i'm hoping... i really miss my craft supplies.... hehe! guess i better clean up my mess first and hope that Ms. Creativity is still "hangin" from the festivities... LOL....

spotlight Thursday at Lollipop Crafts has sneaked up again!! Wow, the week kinda flew by huh?! i feel like i'm still in weekend mode only to realize it's almost the weekend again! LOL...

here's my creation using Loretta Angel... i hope she inspires you to get crafty... i used her to make some thank you cards... kept the layout very simple as i had to make a few... reflected on the sketch from TGF FFCB from last week's WOW... i just love the sketch!! sentiment is from Dandelion Designs and i had to add some punched flowers and leaves cause i thought it was just pretty like that... hehe! the papers are so pretty you'll never guess where i found them! on a browsing day to kill time this past weekend we went to Ross'... every now and then i can find good deals in the very tiny crafting section... these pretty papers were found there... it's from We R memory Keepers, the Hoopla line... next time you're in Ross' you'll just have to look.... i actually found a bunch of great papers there... from big companies like DCWV, Making Memories, etc... some are sold as the whole paper stack and some are sold as sampler packs... and cheap too! this is the inside... i used the coordinating paper scraps to add color inside and used the SU! top note die stamped with some mix and match Hero Arts sentiments to complete my cards... now all that's left is to address and send it on it's way....

here's mine for today... using cutesy Kid Bunny!! i still have some Easter scraps around so pairing it with Kid Bunny was a breeze... the sentiment is from Dandelion Designs and i've embellished this card with some ribbon, dew drops and glitter on the easter eggs... can't really see the glitz though...

This is my take on the awesome sketch! I finally inked up Cupcake Birgitta from CC Designs, a gift from my GF Joy U. (Thanks again Joy!)... she was so fun to color up... i followed the sketch to the bone and didn't embellish since the papers really stand out and already have glitter on them... do you likey?!

I apologize for not having a creation for today's challenge!!! =( been sick all week and had no energy to craft much... stayed up late friday night packing craft stuff and last minute things for the Whale Day celebration on Saturday, which being sick i wasn't really into it, but we paid for the space and didn't want to loose out, so i suffered... my lil' man is almost a 100% better, but now it's mommy's turn to get better... dealing with a very sore throat and an ear infection, yah, had to take a rain check on crafting... felt a little better today and thought i could atleast try and attempt to get something done, but then my eldest girl twisted/sprained her ankle riding her scooter... no fun at all... story of my life... LOL...
