here i used one of the girls from the Miss Anya Love set available at TGF.... i thought she was perfect to use for my spring card... the sentiment is also from another TGF set... used nesties, ribbon, rhinestones and flowers and created this soft, burst of spring card... hehe! you like?! this adorable girly is another one that i'll be donating to the TGF Cares Card Drive....

Hey, be sure to hop on over to rest of the Daredevils blogs and see what spring inspirations they'll be bringing you this week... here's a list of players:

a little sweetness!

Hey it's Friday!!! hoooooooray!! i have so much mixed emotions today... today is the official last day the company has me in business... at 4pm, i unplug my comp and all the phones and most of my systems go down... it's really sad and i haven't thought of it much this week since it was super busy getting out all the pending stuff and shipping piles of boxes to the other office in Oahu... i'm really going to feel it today, since i'm the only one left... the last advisor resigned as of yesterday and now it's only little ol' me... since most of the clean up is already done, next week should fly right by... i'm on the clock up until next Friday before i finally say Aloha to the office... but on top of it all, i'm really looking forward to the time off... and thank you all for your wonderful words of encouragement and support on my last post about this... you can only look at the brighter side of the path, somethings can just never change... but like i've said, it's for the better, never for the worst... and i truly believe that... so thanks for sticking with me through the ups and downs of life and hope that i'll be back more often with creations since i'll have a little more time...

speaking of creations.... look at this beautiful card i received in the mail....
this is created by Denise... my OCS partner for the month of April.... didn't she do a wonderful job on this beauty?!?! her LO is wonderful and i LOVE the embellies on here... the coloring is gorgeous too... Thank you Denise for sending this sweetness my way!!!

Teri is the hostess of this OCS fun!!! and she has done such a fabulous job prepping partners and helping with new friendships... these things take lots of time to prep and with her joyful soul, she has put mountains of time into it... well, Teri has decided to step down from this responsibility as of this last OCS... she will now be a player versus the hostess!! Teri, i wish you all the best in your new adventures and thank you deeply for all your effort and love you put into this success!! visit her blog to read up on this anouncement and to see who will reign in her seat... i'm sure you'll recognize the faces and i hope you will still support and be a part of the OCS... go now as May sign ups are well underway....

alright.... time for me to get moving... i really wanna curl up in bed and go back to sleep... maybe i can do that over the weekend!! hehe!! thanks for visiting today!! it means a lot when i can share with you... check back soon for more creations i need to share... and as always, have a wonderful day!!!

what'd i tell yah... it's pretty simple to follow right?!? i love it... it is great to show off some of the different papers i've been using.... Thanks Jack for another A+ sketch....
see... i told yah it was Rain-ing.... hehehe... coincidently, it is really raining here right now... not as sweet as this Rain... i finshed this card before i even knew it was going to rain... LOL, oops, did i bring the rain?! haha! anyway, this cutie is WS Rain Rain, a digi from TGF... i couldn't wait to play with her... she is soooo CUTE... at first, i looked at her and thought blues and yellows... but then, i wnated to donate this card to the TGF Cares Card Drive and had to think of something else... then i saw this strawberry DP in my stash and knew this is what i was going to create... voila! it's raining sweetness all around her... i used rhinestones for her coat buttons too... then i punched out some hearts and some flowers... cut the flowers in half and glued it on to the hearts to make it look like strawberries... with a little dab of stickles, i added the little seeds to the berries too... do you like???
go and show some love to the Daredevils and see what inspirations they have for you... here's a list of team players this week.....

Soft Spring Blues...

Happy Tuesday!! although i haven't been posting as much as i would like, i'm still around and spying on your fabulous creations... hope you haven't forgotton about me yet.. hehe... life's journey has been a little hectic and stress has one last test for me this week.... besides DD#2 catching a little cold, busy with motherly duties, and trying to find time for me, this is the LAST week my office is fully operational... as of Friday afternoon, i lock the doors for the last time and take our company sign down... sweet and bitter misery with some sadness, BUT i'm so ready for a little vacay... the week has been dreadful so far (and it's only Tuesday) with last minute preparations and packing up of files... i had to ask myself, "why me?!" i'll still be behind the doors next week for the pickups and shipments of the big equipment but as of the 23rd, i'm free and clear for the work life a bit... i am definitely excited for some time off... means i'll have more time to CREATE! i hope! LOL...

well, wanted to share with you this easel card that i made and one that i will be donating to the TGF Cares Card Drive... if you didn't already read the deets on this, i highly recommend you go and check it out... it is a contest, but for those that would just like to donate a few cards, i'm so super sure it will put a smile on a child's face!! that's my main goal for this one... so on this card, i used TGF's Izzy from the Twinkle Tots line... and she's standing in the wind 'Thinking of you'... i love easel cards and try to make them whenever i can... just a short post today... wanted to say that i am still roaming blogland and crafting when i can... was doing a bit last night watching the movie Beaches... i had to stop my creation because i was crying like a baby... hubby sat there just shaking his head... it's such a sweet story and one that i can watch over and over... i think with this pregnancy, my hormones are so whacked, i cry with every movie i watch these days... but yah, maybe it's just crazy me... LOL... okie dokie... i lost track of time and need to get moving for work... ugh, the dread... haha! come back tomorrow for some DT posts... see you then!! and thanks for stopping by today!! Have a HAPPY day!!!! i'll try... =D

Happy Easter!!!!

Wishing you all a very, very HAPPY EASTER!!!! from my family to yours!!

and since it's Easter, i'll share with you some easy packaging i did for DD#1's hula sisters, classmates, teacher and A+ leader...
Got a hold of some solid chocolate bunnies from Walmart for a $1... an simple an easy treat for DD#1's hula sisters... had some bunny bags, so i wrapped the box in them for an easy Easter theme... complete with little tags and the sentiment "Happy Easter Honey Bunny!" from Dandelion Designs....
remember the bunnie and carrots that i showed you last week?! same thing here... wrapped it up in the bunny bags for easy giving!! DD#1 said these were a hit in her class...
and here i just loaded a bag with assorted candies for her afterschool program leader and his staff... and then i used a plastic pot holder and filled it with yummies for her teacher... kept it simple this year...
well, i wish you all the sweetness in the world with joyous moments and happy family time!! See you later!

Washcloth Bunny Tutorial

Wooohooo!!! my weekend begins at 4pm today.... oh my i can't wait... LOL... i'm not even ready for Easter yet... i still have to put a few baskets together... and finish up some crafty things to get out... but i had some questions on my washcloth bunnies so i took some pictures of how to put one together... bare with me, my pictures aren't the greatest...

start off with your needed supplies... washcloths, pom poms for the nose and tail, googly eyes, mini rubberbands and ribbon if you like...

layout the washcloth so it forms a somewhat square...

starting at one end, roll beginning at the edge to about the middle of the cloth...

proceed the same on the other end... both ends should meet in the middle...

then, fold together so it becomes one strip....

fold in half like this creating a loop at one end... the loop will be your bunny body...

about a 1/4 from your loose ends is where you are going to form the head and ears...

pinch the middle and fold up towards the body....

secure with the rubber band... it will look like this... now you can adjust the ears to have them point up and so forth... by using clear rubberbands, you don't have to add ribbon if you prefer not to, but if you want some color, why not...

this time i used a low temp glue gun to securely add the eyes, nose and tail... i've also used 2 way tape in the past which is a bit easier to take off the elements.... you know, for those unexpected times you need a washcloth...

do this a few times and you'll have a whole bunch of bunnies hoping around... you can add whatever will fit in the little pocket area like this... because it's Easter, i used plastic Easter eggs... these make quick cute gifts or even favors... it doesn't have to be for Easter... they make great baby shower gifts/favors, or introductions for that special new bundle of joy... maybe even a spring themed wedding.... hey, if you're gonna try this out, definitely send me a link to your creations... i would LOVE to see what you make of these cute bunnies!!! Thanks for coming by today... i'll be back with more BRAKs and some easy Easter treats....
