Home is where the story begins....

**2 posts today... please scroll down for earlier post**

Happy Halloween once again!!! visited our local craft store last night and saw this amazing phrase that was just perfect for the TGF release challenge... "Home is where the story begins..." and the first thing that popped into my head has to do with my card below... i had the set so it was perfect... even though i already had my challenge project in the works, i just couldn't help but do one more for this challenge and a few more... so this is a combined challenge based on the following:

1. MMSC#25 - sketch

2. LLWWC#10 - Ribbon

3. TGF - Home is where the...is
Perfect for the expecting parents to add to their home... and of course, this is where a new story begins... i loved this week's sketch... it was fun and the possibilities of creating was endless... i apologize for the picture... it does look much better IRL... maybe enlarging the picture might help a bit in seeing the DPs and what not... i found some little baby bottles from doing some baby shower favors so i added that on to the ribbon... then i fond some really tiny buttons in my stash so i've used that too... the DPs is from Imaginisce... very cute and cuddly... i love the one with the animals (circles)... too bad you can't really see it... i'll keep this short... hope you like this one...

and thank you so very much for leaving such thoughtful and sweet comments on my earlier post... i am very happy i was able to inspire some of you with what i was trying to say... we all make a difference in someone elses life... whether big or small... and that counts... thank you!!!

Home is where the.... is! **Loooong*

Let me start this off by saying... HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!! hope you all have a Spook-tacular haunting...

well, i'm waaaay behind on challenges again... it's been a crazy week putting together the last minute treats... i managed to put one creation together for a challenge taking place right now... The Greeting Farm is having a new release party on Sunday, the 1st of November and there are a few challenges going on... one for the wee Tots and one for those young and young at heart... hmmm, which catergory do i belong to?!?!? LOL... anywho, the challenge i'm playing is "Home is where the ___ is"... what does that mean you ask?? well, create a card, layout, etc. that shows who, what or where home is to you, to fill in the blank... pretty great huh?!?

as i was thinking about what to do for this challenge i asked the DH to fill in this phrase... his response: "Home is where the TV is" now give me the remote... LOL, i guess i got what i asked for, since i did ask a guy... if i had the stamps to support that statement, believe me, i would have created it... LOL...

then i asked DD#1 to fill in the phrase... her response: "Home is where the toys is"
DD#2's answer (well, i said the phrase and she just filled in the blank) Home is where the "baba" is... (and pointed to her crib)... i couldn't help but laugh... i knew she was going to say something random since she doesn't quite understand... then randomnly i asked my aunty the same thing and here is her response: "Home is where the family lives" LOL... thanks everyone that was great help... LOL

so i thought about it for a while before settling on something... and i couldn't help thinking about the upcoming holidays... i know what home is for me... and by home (for me) it doesn't have to be a building foundation... my family is my home... my friends are my home... but then i started getting real sensitive thinking about it and i thought to myself, what about the others around me?! so much has happened this year (not me personally)... people losing jobs, losing homes, financial crisis... i know i am less fortunate than the person who has more than me, but there are those who are even less fortunate than me... with Thanksgiving around the corner, i'm thinking about those i don't even know... i don't just mean those who don't have homes, but even those in the military who are far away from home... sure they have a building foundation they call home, but yet it's not... i try to teach my kiddies to be grateful for what they have... what we have... because the person sitting next to them, may have nothing at all... so in like of this gesture and a little something that may help my children understand different situations, i chose to make a little flap book... just a little fiction story of different places to live... and therefore i filled the blank with "Home is where the Heart is"!
OMG! i'm sorry! i hope i didn't loose you... but i just had to share something from my heart and thoughts... well, here goes... above is the cover of the book... this space paper was staring at me so i used it... it was unintentional that i colored bunny bear to look like an alien.. i thought it was a nice color... =D i actually colored the image before choosing the DP, but now that i look at it, it's perfect with the title... the title of my little story... "Where is your home?" 1st page - Is it on a deserted island, with sandy beaches and swaying palm trees...
2nd page - Is it in a flower meadow, where everything is so fresh and green...
3rd page - Is it in a hay field, where the lambs run free...
4th page - Is it down by the pond, where you can stay and enjoy the scene (this is a shaker page)
5th page - Is it under the sea, where the fish play all day...
6th page - We all have differences. It doesn't matter if we live under a box, inside a car or on the beach. As long as we have love, Home is where the heart is...

The end... Love Mommy

a little shabby now that i think about it, but oh well... it's made... =D

Thanks for sticking with me until the end... i am sorry it was rather long... I really hope this post inspired you to maybe help a family in need this holiday season... even if with a simple card... on my list of gratefulness this Thanksgiving, all of you, for being a friend! Have a wonderful Halloween, end of month, saturday.... oh, just have a wonderful... =D

Yummy Delight

**Please be advised this is a long post... lots of pictures...**

Okay, as said, here's my Baking 101... besides paper crafting i do love to bake... well, when i have time... =D Today i'll share with you an "Oreo Delight"... now, these are very sinful, so if you're on a diet, i do not recommend them... you won't stop at one... LOL... Let's begin...

Ingredients:
24+ foil lined muffin cups (you do't have to but it gives a better foundation)
24+ oreo cookies 2 (3 oz.) instant chocolate pudding
2 (8 oz.) pkg, cream cheese 2 1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. sugar 1 (12 oz.) cool whip
2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla

Make sure you have all your ingredients... don't be like me and notice at the last minute there's no vanilla... Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Line muffin pan with muffin cups and put a whole oreo in each cup
Beat cream cheese, sugar, eggs and vanilla, until fluffy <-- whatever that means because mine don't come out fluffy... =D
Fill cups 2/3 full. Bake for about 20 minutes...
These is what it looks like when they are finished baking... set them aside to cool
that darn elf took a bite out of it... hehe... sorry had to make sure it was done and it had taste
Mix pudding and milk (remember don't follow the box directions) fold 1/4 - 1/2 of the cool whip into the pudding mix
Top each cooled cup with this mixture
garnish with cool whip. i also add mini chocolate chips... sometimes i'll use chopped walnuts... just depends
and there you have it.... simple, easy, great for take overs and gatherings... makes about 24-30 mini delights...
these are so yoummy i made a 2nd batch for myself... LOL, no wonder i'm so plump... hahaha! hope you'll give these a try... you can always change it up... instead of pudding, maybe using some fruit pie filling or vanilla pudding instead... the creations with this yummy treat are endless... or for Halloween lovers, maybe some icky creatures coming out of the whip... =D Happy Baking and have a wonderful day! it's finally friday!!!

It's almost time....

Happy Thursday!!! it's my friday today and i just can't wait until the day is over... LOL... took a vacation day since i won't ave a babysitter for forlough friday this week... which is okay because i get to spend some time with the DDs and do up our last Halloween projects... I have one last treat to share with you... at the last minute i noticed i had one left to do... and i think, that's finally it... i haven't even started on the next set of Holiday goodies yet, which i'm dragging to do... hopefully this weekend i can get a crack at it... Next holiday, Thanksgiving...

anyway, onto my little creation... so basically i took something that was already made (paper bag) and just added a little scene on it... I finally made use of my new toys... the MS fence punch and MS scallop corner and border punch... it fit almost perfectly on this bag... couldn't make it too spooky since it's for my Boss' granddaughter... she so happens to be one day older than Alia... it was so funny because she was in the hospital having her baby the day before me... although mine was planned because of a c-section, hers wasn't and it just happened that way... sorry, wen toff track... i colored up Princess Anya in fall colors (brown and orange) and added some stickles to her sleeves, crown, star and under garment of her dress... i had some great 3D halloween stickers lying around so used that too... and couldn't help but using my favorite Boo! stamp... i punched two holes after folding the top flap down to close the bag and slipped in some pretty halloween ribbon.... pretty simple eh!

we have sort of a busy night for us... Krislen is having a harvest festival at her school which we are attending... so i might not be able to sneak into the craft room until late tonight... but i do have something in the works to share with you all soon... actually, i'll be back tomorrow with a little baking 101... LOL... i have to make dessert for my uncle's bbq... until then friends, i bid you good day and happy witchcrafting!

Let's hear it for the BOO! Team

Boo! Boo! Boo! i'll put a spell on you!!! LOL... Happy Tuesday once again friends... as mentioned earlier, i do have another sweet treat for you... with Halloween just days away, i'm now in rush mode to finish up... can't believe it too... i did have a head start... well, once upon a time.... hehe! i ordered some TGF stamps from Roses on Paper over the weekend, and they came in today... Thanks Summer! that was super fast shipping... so i trimmed Cheer Anya and brought her to life for a Halloween Cheer!!!

Made this card for DD#1's teacher to go along with a bucket of sweet goodies.... lot's of yummy cookies and candies that i wrapped up in clear cellophane and added halloween ribbon... just a little something...

Here's the card close up... the card LO is none other than the fabulous sketch over on the Diedrich Dare Devil Blog... it came with perfect timing for me to finish up a few things... Please hop over to the Diedrich Dare Sketch Challenge #8 and play along... the sketch was created by one of Jessica's dare devlin' kiddies ~ Madelynn... the only thing i changed on the sketch was i flipped the dew drops/rhinestone vertically... loved the spider wed ribbon on thought it fun on this card... i stamped the Boo! sentiment 3 times to make it sound like a cheer... purple dew drops with a centered rhinestone... Colored Anya up in purple and orange copics with hints of glitter on her outer skirt, eyelids and pom poms....

and hey, this card is perfect for the ROP challenge #23 too... the theme for this challenge is Halloween.... and also for the Club Anya Mystery Monday Challenge... Spooktacular.... that challenge was given out by Jacquie... another Halloween theme....
i couldn't help but laugh while i was putting this card together... i could feel DD#1 watching me and i was just waiting for her to say "Mommy, i wanna be a cheerleader for Halloween!" but with a sly smile on her face she didn't say anything... i believe she was thinking it though, but since she already has her costume she wasn't going to say anything... =D
It's hump day tomorrow and i just might have one last Halloween themed creation to show you... crossing my fingers i'll get it done since it is my deadline, DD#1 has to take it to school on Thursday since it's another Furlough Friday this week... alrighty then friends, Happy Haunting... i mean Witch Crafting... =D

Calligraphy

A quick post before i head out the door to work... Recapping my previous post - Pumpkin filled day, i was able to get a picture of the calligraphy art we purchased at the craft fair... now i just wanted to share it with you...
the top is Kanji writing meaning "prosperity" and the bottom is my uncle/grandpa's Japanese middle name Shigeru which means prosperity...

The next 2 photos are of the DDs middle names that we've purchased in previous years... This is DD#1's name... Misako... meaning beauty, gentle....

and DD#2's middle name.... Sayuri, meaning sweet and beauty...
how's that for quick... Have a great day and come back tonight for another sweet treat post!

It's a Girl! thing

Hi Friends!!!! It's Monday... another week that will soon pass us by... Hope everyone had a good start this week... i was very excited to come home to yet another Happy Mail... you just have to read on and see who came to play with me today....

this post is for a challenge as well as a gift... see the pix below for the new challenge on Anyone for Anya?! this week it's time for Sketch #3.... and a great one to play with... hop onto the blog and get all the 411 and eye spy the fabulous work by the DT...

Are you ready?!? Look below, someone wants to say HELLO!!!

Here she is!!! Mommy Anya came to play... Woohoo! isn't this just fabby?!? i have to thank my luck for winning her during the TGF Anya Release Blog Hop... she is a set along with Daddy Ian and some sentiments... one of the new October releases... go over to TGF or Club Anya and see all the other great creations using this round about girl...

She came in at the perfect time too... i needed to make a baby shower card for my Boss' daughter who is due within the next 2 weeks... i held off making a card until this delightful mommy came in... i can't get over how cutesy she is... well, i based the card on the sketch above... and added lots of embellies... mr. ducky kinda throws it off but i wanted to use him to match the gift bag... well, somewhat... =D colored her up in Copics... used my MS scallop border punch and flower punch... the baby blocks are from Clear Stamps as well as mr. ducky... added a strip of heart printed ribbon and rhinestones to the flower middles... what do you think about this card?!?!?

Oh, and this also fits perfect with the TGF FFF Challenge - Punch Drunk too.... use the link to take you straight to that challenge and play along...

Okay, so she's not actually having a baby shower because it's her 2nd child and another girl, but i wanted to give her a gift regardless... so i found a cute matching blanket and neck pillow (in back) and 2 diaper shirts... it's so hot in Hawaii, these shirts are perfect for those hot days...
Hope you stuck with me until the end of this post... sorry, it was kinda long... =D come back tomorrow for yet another creation to fill your tummy... Thanks for looking!!! it means so much to me!!!!!! =D

Sweet treats...

{{Clicking on the names will take you to their projects i cased ~ Thanks for the inspiration ladies}}
Happy Sunday one and all! i'm almost done with my Halloween treats, but needed to make one more thing... so i decided to case a few projects from my local blogging sistahs... Joy (a place to be me..) had sent me a great RAK a week ago... and i just loved that idea... she actually cased that from another sistah - Teri (big ideas from a little girl)... this box is just so much fun to make... just let your imagination go wild... i actually based the box on their projects and then took a turn and cased Jean's (Dandelion Designs) slider/shaker box project... it's similar to hers except i kept with Teri and Joy's flap for their box... not bad for my first time trying (as i told them i would)... so here's my version... this is the box with the flap closed... i don't have any of those micro beads so i used lots of coarse glitter...
here it is with the flap open... perfect for a little message... i didn't add anything since Krislen will be doing that part... i actually made this for her A+ leader at school...
and here it is when you slide the box open... of course you can fill it with anything that will fit inside... and i chose yummy yummy candies... =D i usually make my projects really girly (i think the glitter does that job) but DD#1's A+ leader is a guy... so the spider DP by American Crafts was perfect for this... and of course the little spider "boo" stamp...
another thing that inspired me to make this sweet little treat was the DT over at Saturday Spotlight with Hidden Potential... you must go and see their creations at the SSHP04 challenge... this week's challenge is SWEET TREATS... they want you to create some sweet treats for the upcoming holidays... with all the creativity there, i decided to finally think outside the card... hehehe!
enjoy the rest of this beautiful Sunday!!! i hope to bring you more creations soon! Aloha!!!

Pumpkin filled day...

It was a happy saturday! even if it was scorching hot... sorry friends! this one isn't a crafty post... atleast not yet... it was family day today with loads of fun and shopping... we got to go to 2 craft fairs and one had a pumkin patch... so i just wanted to share some pix of the girls in the pumpkin patch...
Krislen finally found one she liked... but Daddy said, if she can't carry it, she can't get it... so you betcha she tried her hardest... LOL

Alia also found one she liked... with both girls having different taste and style, we had to get 2!

Here they are roaming around looking for the one they really wanted...

Alia kept choosing the HUGE ones, and i was the one that kept saying no... LOL... usually it's daddy!

Alia just wouldn't look at the camera... she was having a bad day... =D
didn't get much at the craft fair... most of the things i saw were those moments that i said to myself, i can do that! i just don't have the time... LOL... but we managed to get some yummy edible items and a few crafty ones... mainly for the girls... and i am proud to report that i have started on my Christmas list... hehehe! if you can count one gift i've picked up today... There's this lady from Oahu who comes to certain craft fairs, so when she's here, i'll summon up what i need.... notice the need not want =D anyway, she does Japanese calligraphy, and me being part Japanese, i just love it... the girls' both have Japanese middle names and we already have them in calligraphy... this time around i purchased one for my uncle, who was (and still is) a father figure in my life... i was also close to my grandpa and both he and my uncle share the same middle name... so i had that done in calligraphy as a Christmas/bday (he's bday is the day after Christmas) gift, both in honor of my uncle and a rememberance of my grandpa... when i get a chance i'll take and post a pix...
after a day of not going into the craft room, because i was in there from last night until about 6am today, i think i'll head in there now... oh, in response to my dear friend Lynn, she asked if i ever sleep?!?!? i do, but i try to take full advantage of the weekends... it's the only real time i have to craft and not be bothered... LOL... yah, i'm crazy... hehehe! so friday and saturday nights i'll go until my eyes cannot stay open, which usually is around 5ish the next day... but i nap during the day with the kids for about an hour or 2 and then i'm back again... this is my crazy life and i'm glad you all are willing to share it with me! remember, SMILE, you never know who's looking at you! =D

Peppermint Dreams

Woohoo for Saturday... yes it is around 4ish here in Hawaii and no this is not a scheduled post... i'm really up at this hour... LOL... i look forward to the weekends when i can actually stay in my craft room until the wee hours... quietness of night helps a lot... no screaming children and no interruptions... i have another card to share with you that i really really like... and this card is made for these challenges:

Little Paper Shop #38 - Sketch by Julia... it's a fabulous sketch if you like to embellie...

Cute Card Thursday #83 - Candy Corns... the DT wants to see your sweet/candy themed creations...

and i think it may even count for FFF at TGF for the "punchy" challenge...

OMGosh, putting this card together was making my mouth water for a Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha Frappacino from Starbucks.... mmmmm, can't wait until those babies come out... onward to my card...
catching the Christmas bug and trying to get ahead (uh-huh, yah right) i did up a sweet christmas card... this so reminds me of the book "T'was the night before Christmas"... remember the kids dreaming of all those sweet treats?! yep, so inked up HG Snuggle by TGF and colored her snuggly in Christmas jammies with her old faithful friend that i'll call bunny bear (yah, very random, don't ask, LOL)... sleep walking?!? maybe... to find some Christmas sweets... i absolutely adore the candy themed DP by American Crafts called Merrymint... it's very pretty IRL! you can even see it shine a bit in the pix... on the LPS sketch there were three circles i believe are meant for embellies... but then again, however you see the sketch is what you will create... my original intention was to just use buttons, but a light bulb turned on after i saw some cellophane on my other desk... so i wrapped and wrapped the buttons up in pieces of cellophane and tied it with red sparkly Christmas ribbon so it would stay closed and used thin pop up dots to secure them on to the card... now that's what i consider (for me) a creative moment... hahaha! don't know how i came up with that one... it is really cute though... ok, enough rambling... didn't add to much to the card because the DP just shines with the adorable image... simple yet fun! Dream Sweet!

Sparkling Friday

Happy Aloha Friday! i'm so thankful the weekend is finally here... after a surprise audit on Monday for my office, (what a way to start a new week) the weekend is much needed for me... the anticipation of waiting for the verdict was just stressing me all over... and then finally today a sigh of relief... my audit was spotless! phew... talk about going over the hill... i'm just thankful to take that off my mind and enjoy the weekend...

haha! thanks for listening (reading) my blabber... anyway... i'm slowly getting back into the groove of creating again... and i have another 3 for 1 for you...

sorry, i think i really over did it with the sparkle... but i LOVE SPARKLES... this card is for the following challenges:

MMSC24 - Fabulous sketch to play with this week...

Flutter by Wednesday #80 - Use a butterfly or fairy...

La-La's Wednesday Weekly Challenge #9 - Sparkle!!! now you know why i sparkled this card up...

the DP is from DCWV Pocket full of Posies stack... coordinated it with purple CS since there was a hint of purple in the DP... and some sparkles if i may add... Colored up Flutter Anya in shades of blue... yes i know, again! but i couldn't help it... it's my FAVE color and i don't play with it enough... that and the week just had me feelin' blue... sparkled her up with diamond, icicle and crystal stickles GG... lighter blue rhinestones and one shade darker for the flower middle... prima flowers and voila! i present to you my card... i didn't add a sentiment yet since i'm not sure what i will use this card for... but i hope you like it anyway! Have a FANTASTIC weekend friends!!! hope to be back soon with more to share with you... =D

Blue is cool!

It's Thursday! one more day until the weekend... and i'm happy to say, i can't wait... no special reason, just because... anyway wasn't feeling too good last night so i had no creation to show you... but i do have one today...

Based on the MMSC#24 Sketch and the Club Anya Mystery Monday recipe by Heather challenge, i came up with this card... i have to admit that i was really stumped on what i really wanted to create... although i'm not really happy with how this came out, my brain is fried and i don't think i will try and re-create it... ugh, it's just one of those days... LOL... i changed up the sketch a little by adding the patterned ribbon, which was a requirement on the recipe... and added dew drops to the corners because my CS was so plain... lots of sparkle on Princess Anya as well as the prima flower... i do love the DP though... which has some glitter in it... i'm not entering this into MMSC, i think i'll do another one for that... but this is entered into the Mystery Monday challenge...

Hope everyone is having a great day! it's back to the craft room for me!

OCS for my Partner, Jamee

Happy Tuesday! Now that i know Jamee, my October OCS partner, received her card i can share with you what i've made her...
I did a tri-fold card with a twist as i decorated every panel except the bottom... here's the front of the card... i just LOVED this spell DP and had to use it...
This is the inside when you open the top flap... used both stamps and 3D stickers...

and here it is fully open... like i've mentioned before, she's a HUGE Twilight fan, so my card wouldn't be complete without Edward... again i used some 3D stickers and gave this card a Halloween theme... perfect for October right?! Hope Jamee liked her card as much as i had fun putting it together! =D

OMGoodness Jamee, my heart melted... hehe.... if you're a fan of the Twilight Saga, go and check Jamee's blog out... she has some awesome Twilight inspired creations that will just make you drool... over and over again... you'll spot some eye candy too, if you LOVE Edward...

Here's a RAK from a dear blogging sister that opened her arms to me when i first started out... she was one of my first few followers and i'm thankful for her kindness she has bestowed upon me... Denise, thank you very much for thinking of me and sending me such a loving RAK... I love when she uses the HBs... they are so darling and cutesy... the one on the left is a card she made to go with my gift... and for the one on the right, see below for what it is...
it's a post it note holder and she even added a calendar too... i told her i LOVE it too much to use... so for the time being, i have it propped on my desk (yah, please don't mind my messy desk in the pix) Lovely RAK she created... it even got the hubby in AWE...

the best part about this post, Jamee and Denise is a mother and daughter team... both very creative in their own unique and special ways... please give them a visit when you have time... you will be in AWE too... thanks girl, everything is so GREAT!
thanks for visiting with me today.... hope you have an awesome day/night, wherever you are!!!

Hello!

A simple Hello! i thought i wasn't going to make the deadline for the Flutter by Wednesday Challenge #79... only because i thought i had posted it already... aahhh! i'm losing my mind... so here i am rushing to get it in... i just love this fairy from TGF... and i find myself using her over and over again... believe me, there will be one more post using her... not this week but next for something Spook-Tacular...
i used one of the previous sketches from MMSC to kindly put this card together... i made it for a dear friend, whom i swap cards with each month... hope she likes it! i didn't want to add too much since the DP has a great setting to it already.... so some stickles gg and dew drops completed this card... the DP is by DCWV Latte stack... isn't she flutter-ful! =D

Feelin' a little Witchy...

no, i don't mean my mood! LOL... Happy Monday everyone!!! hope everyone had a nice and relaxing weekend with some craft time... mine consisted of laziness, crafts, more laziness, family time, crafts, shopping, crafts and ended with a birthday party last night! phew, i think i'm even more tired now... LOL... but is was well... Well, here's to a new week...

This card was made for Krislen's teacher to go along with her goodies that i still have to put together... based on the weekly sketch by the Dare Devils, this is how it came out... i'm not a real fabby on circle cards because i never can get it right, but i tried anyway... go ahead and play the challenge if you DARE! it's really plain compared to my normal work but i wanted Krislen to design on it too... but i have to post before she does, because i can only imagine, what she'll do... LOL... i just couldn't get over not using the witch's feet stamp... around the image it says "trick or treat....smell my feet!" too cute! the bat DP is from American Crafts... little rhinestones and a Boo! i'm just loving that sentiment... don't forget to hop on to the Diedrich Dare blog and play along... Can't wait to see what everyone else was up to over the weekend... i'll be back later on tonight to post more happy mail and my OCS from my partner... be sure to come back! Hugs!!!!

Twas' the night before....

Hey there blogland! i'm back again with another challenge card... this is for SSHPO3... make a scence... it was really hard to visionally see what i was really trying to create without dressing it up more and more... but here's what i came up with...
Twas' the night before Christmas.... fire still burning, under the tree is still bare... stockings are hung and ready to be filled... i envisioned a quiet a peaceful Christmas Eve... everyone is sleeping waiting for Santa to arrive and fill this scene with lots of presents...

this card is created using most of the Katie Christmas set from LPS... down to the sentiments... it's a gorgeous set to use to create scenes... colored everything with my copics... hung the stockings using little brads.... rhinestones for the tree topped with a rhinestone star... i look at this card and just feel at peace... simple, quiet and peaceful...

Now, it's your turn to tell me how this scene makes you feel?!?!?!

hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! =D

Boo!

It's another beautiful (and hot) day here in Hawaii... we have some breeze but it's still super HOT! managed to finish this card for 3 challenges... i'm behind again, so i really like it when i can combine a few... here's the challenges this card is up for:

1. MMSC#23 - an awesome sketch going on over there... plus, they have a blog hop going on right now... so be sure to pay a visit... you could be a lucky winner...

2. Cute Card Thursday - Spook Fest... and boy do they have some SPOOK-TACULAR creations by the DT...

3. Paperplay Challenge Week 39 - Favorite Embellishment.... this was hard... i love to dress up my cards in embellies... lots and lots of embellies of different kinds... but i did choose my most fave -- dew drops!
and ta-da.... here's my creations... based on the sketch challenge at MMSC... i inked up Baxter from the Dandelion Designs Halloween Line... i just love him in his vampire costume... he's colored in with copics, of course my new toy! and i couldn't resist using the candy corn... after all he is going trick-or-treating... with Halloween approaching in 2 weeks, i told myself i better get trickin'...

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! i know i am, being lost in the craft room... LOL!

Oh My Goodies!!! Happy Mail!!!

Here again to share something wonderful! Came home from work on Friday to a wonderful box of joy... from my dear sister (by heart) Linda.... she surprised me with lots of goodies... non-edible and edible... oh Happy Mail!!!
Look at all the great things she sent my way... mmmmm, (Linda, i had to hide my candies from the kiddies, big and small... hehe) I was so surprised when i saw Baxter in the box... i've been dying to find him at our local craft store, with no success... i think he was all sold out... her kindess touched my heart because she sent this to me not even meeting me yet IRL (one day we will, i'm hoping soon!)... got some rhinestones and pearls (that i love to use to dress up my creations), some yummy stamps, flowers and dew drops, refill for my memento pad (yay for copics, LOL)... a to die for Edward (HB) goodie bag, another goodie bag with some HB to play with and this out of this world waterfall card... OMGosh, i love it... you have to teach me =D Thanks Sis! you really made my weekend... and the hubby is off to night fishing tomorrow, so i'll have lots of fun playing with my new goodies (and munching on some too)... lots of LOVE to you Linda, for everything!!!

Please stop by her blog if you have a chance! she has a great line up of creations that will not disappoint you... Have a fabulous weekend friends!
