Happy Tuesday!! although i haven't been posting as much as i would like, i'm still around and spying on your fabulous creations... hope you haven't forgotton about me yet.. hehe... life's journey has been a little hectic and stress has one last test for me this week.... besides DD#2 catching a little cold, busy with motherly duties, and trying to find time for me, this is the LAST week my office is fully operational... as of Friday afternoon, i lock the doors for the last time and take our company sign down... sweet and bitter misery with some sadness, BUT i'm so ready for a little vacay... the week has been dreadful so far (and it's only Tuesday) with last minute preparations and packing up of files... i had to ask myself, "why me?!" i'll still be behind the doors next week for the pickups and shipments of the big equipment but as of the 23rd, i'm free and clear for the work life a bit... i am definitely excited for some time off... means i'll have more time to CREATE! i hope! LOL...
well, wanted to share with you this easel card that i made and one that i will be donating to the TGF Cares Card Drive... if you didn't already read the deets on this, i highly recommend you go and check it out... it is a contest, but for those that would just like to donate a few cards, i'm so super sure it will put a smile on a child's face!! that's my main goal for this one... so on this card, i used TGF's Izzy from the Twinkle Tots line... and she's standing in the wind 'Thinking of you'... i love easel cards and try to make them whenever i can... just a short post today... wanted to say that i am still roaming blogland and crafting when i can... was doing a bit last night watching the movie Beaches... i had to stop my creation because i was crying like a baby... hubby sat there just shaking his head... it's such a sweet story and one that i can watch over and over... i think with this pregnancy, my hormones are so whacked, i cry with every movie i watch these days... but yah, maybe it's just crazy me... LOL... okie dokie... i lost track of time and need to get moving for work... ugh, the dread... haha! come back tomorrow for some DT posts... see you then!! and thanks for stopping by today!! Have a HAPPY day!!!! i'll try... =D

ReplyDeleteHey Kris!
ReplyDeleteI think that's what I love about you so much.. You send out so many positive thoughts! Through all the stress, you look at the bright side, that's great!Maybe the office closing is a good blessing so you can relax a little!
I never got aroud to seeing Dear John and
I don't know if I'm gonna make it to The Last Song. But I did read the Last song and at first I thought, oh, not so sad. Then, I got closer to the end and I was crying. Yeah, I always cry with his books! I also kind of started a Sparks book club at work, I lent my books to all the girls in the office. But some stuff like Beaches or Sparks, no matter how many times you see them, they just touch you.Geez, sorry long comment. But what I really wanted to say was take care, enjoy the free time and we all Love you because you're such a sweet person!
What a sweet spring card! The sentiment is one that I send back to you. I believe in Karma and so I'm sure that something good will come your way because you always send good will to all of us.
