Wow! i've been really slacking on posting huh?! been a bit under the weather the last few days and then been crunching some deadlines... crafting has been slow too.... tired and feeling blah is a big part of that... i have some sharings for the rest of the week though... =D

I used "Happy Fall" and "Cute Little Candy Corn" digis to make these super easy treats... i really lucked out... because Fall and Halloween are in full gear, i was able to find some candy corn and mellowcreme pumpkins to complete this... i have to admit, i'm not a real big fan of these sweet treats, but i'm sure others are...

but first, THANK YOU so kindly for all the sweet words on yesterday's creation... i do miss my papa very much, but i also know he is up above watching over us... and although he may not be here in whole form, i know he is here in heart and spirit and we keep him alive thorugh memories... THANK YOU! the lovely comments helped me get through the day... yes, i did shed some tears when we went to visit, i knew his presence was there... HUGS!!!

i went sentiment free on today's card... i can always add one when the time is needed... my creation is versatile and can pretty much be used for any general occassion... so the 2 stamps/images i used was both from TGF... the new Blush Society Line... this is Blush Babette (ohhh so fun to color) in my fave color... i'm still working on my hair coloring and am pretty satisfied with the way this one came out... the second stamp is the Blush Hello... stamped on the nestie cutout behind Babette... 2 DP is from 3bugsinarug Chloe line... i thought a strip of the bicycle paper was classy for this darling image... 2 embellies (i went with 2 types) small button hearts in the top right hand corner and 2 half pearls on the left side corners... and 2 different ribbon scraps...

A simple and quick Thank you!

Hi there!! quickly stopping in on this Wednesday to share a simple and quick Thank you card.... my lil' one isn't feeling the greatest with a slight fever so it's mommy and baby time until he falls asleep... but i had to whip up a thank you card first...
used a freebie from Meljen's Designs (i think this one is only available if your a PCP member, but i can't remember for sure).... this teddy is really cute that i just had to use it... used some of my scrap Doodlebug Funfetti DP with some rick rack ribbon and a few dew drops... oh and bits of stickles glitter on the image... voila! love the burst of colors... very happy thank you card!

oh boy! does it have to be thursday already?!? with each passing day this week into next, i feel the stress getting stronger... almost a week away from the biggest celebration we have much anticipated.... but don't worry, the forseen hasn't overcome my good moods! =D

i'm back again!! this time with a creation for Lollipop Crafts Sponsor Spotlight Thursdays!!! and this week we are spotlighting....

i used Meljen's Cuddle Bun Buddies for my creation today... i like to call them Bun-Buns! for obvious reasons.. hehe! sorry, i wasn't able to make these according to the challenge... i was in desperate rush to make these cards to send them out and used some premade cards i had stashed away and used a bunch of solid CS scraps that i border punched and added to the card.... very simple Thank You cards... with a whole lotta meaning... =D
not sure if you can see it, since it blends in, but i added a mini pom pom for their tails... i just hope it's still on there after it's journey to their next destination... had lots of fun putting these together... simple, no brainer cards, but cute and to the point! ahh, simplicity! hehe!

well, i'm heading on my mini vacay tomorrow and probably won't be posting over the weekend... can't believe it's almost here already!! i've been waiting for this trip for sometime now and super excited to have a "relaxing" time... i quote that because i plan to do some shopping with lots of walking... haha! guess i'll wish you all a wonderful weekend now in case my creation isn't ready for tomorrow... oh, i'll be back later in the AM to share a Happy 1st with you all... i have to wait for the paper to come... =D see yah soon!

a quick sharing before i head out! the craft fair was a great success!! THANK YOU to all my wonderful friends who have sent well and good luck wishes!!! Love and appreciate you ALL! it was fun, met lots of people, recevied awesome compliments and it was basically a day to showcase my products, my creativity and hopefully put a smile on someone's face... whether it was a gift for themselves or someone special! since this was my first actual "craft" fair, i got the feel of what people were interested in... we didn't sell out, but we got pretty close to and now i have a heads up on future craft fairs...

also got to chit-chat a bit with the lovely Joy from the Joy of Crafting... a short little visit as we both had to man our stations!! IT WAS SO GOOD TO SEE YOU AGAIN JOY!!! I hope you enjoy the little omiyage!! overall, it was a wonderful day and i'm already looking forward to the next one...

to my dear friends... i AM going to get decent sleep this week... hehehehe! no more all nighters turning in at 4 am... for awhile atleast... haha! looking forward to my little vacay this coming weekend and visiting with my supah awesome Oahu sistahs.. ;) shopping here i come!!!!! Recipe for Happiness!

Oh bonkers!! i'm LATE again!!! man can someone teach a class on time mangement?! hehe! this is gonna be a somewhat quick and sweet post because my hands need to get moving, i have 2 days before the next craft fair.... yikes! anyway, Sponsor Spotlight Thursday over at Lollipop Crafts... please check out what some of the Lollipop Girls have created for you using some images for this week's sponsor... Meljen's Designs.... there is still time to play in the challenge this week and try your luck at being the random winner of 4 digis from Meljen's.... i have to enforce that the images there are so CUTE!! so i actually had a card almost done for today's post, but after setting it aside to tend to some household chores, i went back to finish up my project and noticed a 'sweet' smear of chocolate across the image.... hmm, was that me or one of my kiddies??? devasted, i needed something quick with only an hour or so to prepare so i did this project.... i had the box already done but needed to cover it up.... with minutes to spare i decided to use the "recipe for happiness" image, give it a little color and glitz and slap it on to this memo pad holder.... ah-ha! done! this is something i'd like to keep on my desk for days i need to remember to smile! I received this project last year from some awesome sisters (Joy U. and 1LuvnMama), which i found nicely put away during one of my cleaning sprees and always wanted to try to case one... and i finally did!! Thanks for the inspiration girls! a little follow up on the Krisp Krafts blog.... my anticipated debut has been delayed as we are having issues with photoshop and the layout of the blog.... but i'm shooting for a debut before month's end whether or not it is complete or not and will keep you posted.... gottah go gottah go!! these are the days i wish i had some magic stored away!! Box it up and Gift it....

It's the first challenge of April and you should know what that means by now.... MELJEN'S DESIGNS is our sponsor and as always, giving one random winner a whimsical prize!! so be sure to play along.... deets may be found on the LC blog... with many celebrations coming up, i decided to dust off my window treat box sizzix die and create a few treat boxes... the theme is pretty plain so you can use it for just about anything... Easter, Mother's Day, Admin's Day etc... i used some 'spring' papers to dress these boxes up, and even embossed some solid squares... added a layered flower with button middle and that makes my cover... on the flap inside i managed to add a slid white CS stamped with to/from (from a TGF set - Xmas Sweeties) and used my MS leaf and a flower punch... the window opening is covered with acetate so the sweets don't fall out...

I used "Princess Mouse" from Meljen's this week and this is what i created....

i'm still in SPRING mode from last week's challenge and wanted by base to really 'standout'.... LOL... i like to think she's a princess fairy bringing magic to anyone so i used the "have a firy nice day" sentiment from (please forgive me) but i don't know where! i just saw it in my stash... some embossing and border punching and stickles... papers are from my mind's eye and are actually glittered too... 'Fairy' sweet don't you think?!

so i've opted to "NOT" craft until my craft room is cleaned (that and there isn't any room right now)... since yesterday, i have piles of stuff everywhere in hopes to clean up and store my supplies properly.... my goal was to trash atleast 2 bags of things i haven't used, probably won't use or goodness knows why i'm still keeping, but so far in a day top, i only have half a bag... LOL... so much for that goal.... i just can't part... and i was seriously thinking about getting rid of my cricut until some of my 'sisters' changed my mind (thanks loves!)

so i'm still learning how to use my Cinch and i figured, why not try it for this week's challenge... so, with that thought, i created this notepad.... i think out of all the Meljen's images, "Tutu Sweet" is by far, my most FAVE!! Of course she is, i always use her... hehe! she's just, well, Tutu Sweet! very versatile and you can color her up to match any paper you want to use... so for my notepad, i used this hearts in rainbow colors paper and colored her up in rainbow colors... the sentiment is from Dandelion Designs and i couldn't resist adding some rhinestones, in hearts shapes too...

ok, this week i have a lot to share... maybe some pre-posting will help me out... haha, yah right! before i head off, i just want to wish a very sweet and loving blog sister a SUPER SWEET and HAPPY BIRTHDAY! as she celebrates her birhdhay today!!! I''m the boss?! or is it EM"BOSS"?

Hiya, Hiya!!! Happy November Everyone!! hope you all had fun with your Halloween festivities yesterday... we had a wonderful evening with good company (our besties) with a little bbq and some trick-or-treating.... =D now i'm ready for things to get back to normal (no such thing, ha!)...

there's a NEW challenge over at Lollipop Crafts and it's my week to host! Challenge #14 - Embossing.... bring out your embossing stencils, folders, texture plates, heat gun and powders, whatever it is, whether dry or heat, but i want you to overpower your creations and EM"BOSS" them.... hehehe!

i did a little bit of both dry and heat embossing... the sentiment is heat embossed and then i took the liberty of embossing the bottom nestie layer with my Swiss Dots folder and if you look closely underneath the sentiment, it's embossed too (i can't remember what set, but it's from Cuttlebug)... i do love sunflowers, so this "Sunflower Buggies" image from Meljen's was perfect for me.... simple and clean on this one, but lots of color for the eye, LOL...

here's my card for the week... based on the inspiration of Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge #72, this is what i created... MelJen's Designs was very kind to let the DT play with 2 images and i decided to use this lovely fairy with her pot of MAGIC... her magic makes the flowers grow... =D i just love the colors on this card... a very spring mixture... also added a little hint of stickles to each flower and foliage for that touch of magic...
