Hey dude!

{2nd post. Please scroll down for Lollipop Crafts challenge. Thank you!!}

Hiya!! i'm back again with a creation i was suppose to post on Sunday... hehe... better late than never...

so i'm seeing lots of mini pizza boxes these days and i'm seriously admiring all the wonderful designs... i've received a few myself and just LOVE it... it's big enough to fill up with lots of treats... i would say it's the newest craze... hehe! after receiving my pizza boxes i told myself i had to try it... of course i procrastinated... then i saw this week's Wednesday challenge at ATS... Mini Pizza Boxes.... after debating if i would have time to try it, i thought it would be a perfect gift for end of school year thank yous... so i pushed myself and made one....
ok, so after deciding to do one, my next thing was "what was i going to do?!" well TGF FFCB Farm Fresh Challenge this week is Summer Lovin' and that gave me some inspiration too.... ah-ha!! perfect since we're ending the school year and going into summer.... then i thought of the perfect thing to create for DD1's A+ leader!! Surf's up!

so i pulled out TGF's surfer Ian and some mango luau Bo Bunny paper (wish i bought more when the line was still available, i LOVE it) and started working.... it was difficult since i had a cut-out sheet of the DP instead of actual solid (one print) DP... i was limited to what i could use... but all worked out... i used the cuttlebug mesh embossing folder, circle and scallop circle nesties, some raffia (to keep the box and card closed) and i cut out the little 'surfing' sign from the DP too... the 'hey dude' sentiment is from My Guy Ian which is also a set from TGF.... Ian is popped up using pop up dots... i love the dimensional look!! hehe...
ok so if you're looking at the box in the first picture, you'd think that's just one piece on the front... but actually the top is a card... this is the inside... again i used part of the DP (it was printed like this) to use as a little area to write a note... so i simply did up my card and adhered it to the box front...
and this is the box opened.... filled with yummy yummies.... i plan to hit starbucks to get some GC to add to this thank you, have a cool summer treat too!!

i'm telling you, these boxes are awesome... holds alot, as you can see and you can decorate it in any way you want... i'm already starting on one for DD1's teacher....

alright, i'm going to surf on out of here and surf the net... hehe!! come back tomorrow for the second box...
