Fun filled day at the fair and RAK

Yup! you've guessed it! i made it through the weekend at the fair... we went 2 days, Friday and Saturday... Friday to walk around, play some games and stuff our faces with some yummy food... Saturday, was an all day event for the kiddies to ride the rides... Despite the fact that yesterday morning rained and then cleared up and drizzled again, and then brought extreme winds that blew dirt clouds all over us, we all had a fun day!but i was thankful to go home and take a shower... my hair was so stiff as if i used hairspray... LOL... wanted to share some pictures of the girls..
Here's DD#1 - Krislen with all her winnings... she was so proud to have won her prizes all by herself... she got to ride lots of rides, eat her favorite chow funn and played games... and she even bought some flower clips for her hair...

DD#2 - Alia, hanging out at our spot under the game tent... she only went on the merry-go-round, and sat in the chair versus a horse... yah, she's still a little scared.... she got to play some games too, but didn't win anything since the balls made it to the ground instead of the tables... but her big sister won some things for her....

we ate lots of food that we can only get once a year... and of course the day wouldn't be complete without some cotton candy that we bought to take home... and my yummy candy apple that i just had to get... the lines for the rides were extremely long and besides that, there wasn't much vendors selling good stuff... we managed to get a few things from some of the Oahu vendors, but you could really tell our economy is hurting... it wasn't as crowded as previous years... the DH wants to go AGAIN today to get some food and check out the last deals since today is the last day of the fair... but we're having some rainy showers so we'll have to see about that... he had to go to school yesterday and couldn't join us....

and after a long day, i came home to a surprise package! a RAK from my GF Michelle... she's so sweet always thinking of us...

Here's what was in the package... she sent something for the girls too! Thank you Aunty Michelle!!!! Krislen's favorite treat is PEZ...

Had to take a picture of the cutie tag she made to wrap the girls treats... isn't it adorable?! LOVE it!

and this is all the goodies she sent to me! THANK YOU MICHELLE!!!! i LOVE it all... with all my heart i'm very thankful to have you as my friend! big hugs to you and Amara for the Halloween treats! you gals are just so so SWEET!
