Hk Birthday

Happy Tuesday friends! I was a little MIA yesterday, but i did manage to blog hop and checkout everyone's awesome creations and give you all some LOVE... although i didn't post a blog, i did hide in the craft room for a little bit before resting and cleaning the house all day yesterday (even if i was feeling under the weather)... stayed home again today, in likes of making sure i'm okay to go back to work tomorrow... so wanted to share with you the first set of cards i made yesterday... we have 2 1st birthday parties coming up one sunday after another... one here and one on Oahu (which we will not be attending)... and to much of my happiness both party themes is Hello Kitty... i have to make a total of 8 cards for the parties... as soon as we got the invitations my family put in their orders... thankfully, the 8 includes mine... so here's the first set...
made a special trip to the craft store to get this darling HK paper... reminds me of the bags that you would get after buying something from the Sanrio store before they started using plastic... the template for this cupcake card can be found on the Ben Franklin Crafts site... punched some flowers and added some rhinestones... and ran the cupcake base through my crimper... pretty simple right?! you can do it too!

i'm actually in the craft room today so be sure to come back and check out what else i've created today... Thanks for coming by and I sure hope this week is pleasant for all of you!

  1. I remember those HK bags! Your card turned out very HK fabulous. I'm glad that you made use of the BFC template. It's simple and lots of fun to decorate with doodads.

  2. Super sweet!!! I love HK and cupcakes. Great job. Your new background is super cute. Have a great week! :)

  3. These cupcakes are too cute! Did you hop on over to your Ben Franklin for the paper, lol. Love the little flowers with bling, so creative. Have a great Tuesday!
    P.S. Love your Halloween background!

  4. Very cute cupcakes! They'll love it!

  5. Nice effect with the crimper--really looks like cupcake cups. Cute!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Your wonderful and sweet comments keep me going! Thank you so very much!! Have a blessed crafting day! Hugs, Kris
