Birthday Favors....

{Looking for the Lollipop Crafts blog hop post?! Scroll down or take the link above. Thank you!}

Hey friends!!! sorry today's sharing comes a little late in the day... last night while cleaning out pictures from my camera, i unintentionally deleted what i wanted to share... =( that made me very very sad.... and there is no way of me re-photographing since it is well on it's way to make it to Japan! anyway, it was 2 more cards that i made to send to Japan in my efforts of participating in BFC Cards of Aloha event... i was able to send off a total of 6 cards for the cause....

In place of my accident, i'm sharing what i was working on last night.... my son's 1st birthday party is less than 2 weeks away and it's down to the count down and "last" minute prepping and basically i'm in the terms of craziness.... yah, i procrastinated AGAIN... thank goodness the last things are sorta easy peasy....
here are the favor labels that i stamped using the cute images from SU!'s Summer Splash set... i actually stamped them during the weekend but wanted to make sure the ink dried before sending it through my printer.... i like the burst of colors! makes it so fun and happy to see....
instead of doing hard core favors, i decided i wanted to do a candy buffet... that way the guest can choose their own yummies.... and that will be our "thank you" goodies... so we bought some plain treat bags from BFC... this is where the labels come into play.... hmm, need your opinion! are the bags to plain??? should i decorate it a bit more? or leave as is?? i'm going back and forth with the options, but honestly thinking that eventually it will be thrown away so should i really put that much more time on them?? love to hear what you think!!

hopefully later this week i'll be able to show you the table decorations... i'm still, ugh, working on it... LOL...

Don't forget Lollipop Crafts Anniversary blog hop is still going on until midnight tonight! make sure you visit each DT as there are hidden prizes all over... and i should be back tomorrow with my He-"art" journaling pages... toodles, have a fantastic day!!

  1. Love your cute colorful labels for the party favors for Keenan's party. I am sure that all your guests will have a blast at the candy buffet. Have fun planning for his party. I can't wait to see pictures of it.

  2. Fun labels Kris. The bright colors are perfect for the surf boards. The goodies will make the bag overflow so no need to add more unless you really want to. A cool Shaka (hand shaka) would be cool, I wonder if those kine stamps exist. I would so purchase it. :)

  3. I can't believe Keenan is turning one already! I think the treat bags look fantastic, the label is colorful enough and with the blue bags it's a great look!

  4. I love that idea of stamping then running it through the printer! I'm gonna have to remember that one! I think you don't need to decorate them more.. the only ones who'll really care are the other crafters!!! :)

  5. you did a wonderful job with the favors! love the stamps and great idea! i don't think the bag is plain...it honestly looks just right! esp. because there's so many! good luck!

  6. you are really making me fall in love with that stamp set! love the colors you chose too! i think those bags are perfect and that's a great idea to let the guests choose their candy. can't wait to see what your table decorations look like!

  7. Hi Kris. I can not believe that your little guy is turning one already. Where does the time go? I think your idea of a candy buffet is awesome! Never heard of one, but what a fantastic idea. I think your lables are great and I think that the blue bags just make it POP! I don't think it needs more. I am sure the kids will take care of filling it up. lol.. Have a great day. Hugs, Lisa

  8. I can stand it! You are so on it girl! I have yet to start anything on Asa's b-day. So crazy! Anyway, those favor bags are perfect the way they are. You rock girl!
