Pink & Green Christmas

What a beautiful Sunday it is! Hello friends!! hope you all are enjoying the weekend... i still can't believe how time is flying on by.... Christmas will be here in less than 2 weeks and i'm still not ready... managed to wrap a few more presents last night but there is still a mountain of presents... i am working on a few big projects and after that i'll be taking a semi short break to finish things on the home front... i will be particiating with my DT sisters for Flutter by Wednesdays and the Diedrich Dare, so be sure to look out for that... and don't forget the HUGE All Customer Club Anya Blog Hop tomorrow... with the count down to Christmas please don't be alarmed if i miss a day of posting... i'll be okay, just super busy... atleast i think i'll be okay... LOL...

Thank you to my dear friends who showed concern about my super early post yesterday.... LOL... yah, i had 3 hours of sleep... a short, 20 minute nap coming down from the farm and that's it... but Mr. Sandman really had me in a trance last night since i was able to sneak in 7 hours of sleep... =D

i have a card to show you today, that will be entered for the following challenges:

1. MMSC #31 - Sketch with a winter theme

2. LLWWC #16 - Pink and Green I got this cutesy LaLa Fairy in the mail on Friday and just couldn't help but inking her up... isn't she cute?! she's colored in with copics and glittered with diamond and cotton candy stickles... i embossed the white CS with the cuttlebug snowflake folder and the pink CS with the swiss dots folder... used my nesties to shape out the the focal as well as the half circles... the green greetings paper is by Imaginisce Christmas line... I think she makes the perfect winter fairy to bring Christmas wishes to someone... =D

sorry to have to run off so quickly... need to finish up some crafts and clean up the craft room a little... Have a super fabulous Sunday!!! and as always, Thank you for sharing a moment with me.... be back soon!

More Christmas RAKs...

Hey, Hey!!! Good Morning and Happy Saturday! been MIA yesterday prepping for some creations... but i wanted to share some GREAT Christmas RAKs i received this week before i head to bed... yup, you read it right... BED!! i am well aware that it is 4am hawaii time and i've already gotten scoldings from my aunty... but hey, it's the only peaceful time i have to really work on my crafts... despite how tired i am, i still force myself... hopefully i can catch a few more Zs up at the farm later... =D we have a Christmas party tonight and i don't want to be down and out... so i guess let's get going...

this beautiful card was made by the Alter Queen... Amy.... isn't this gorgeous?!?! OMGosh i fell in love with this card when i saw it on her blog and i have to say it is so beautiful IRL!! i LOVE snowflakes... wow! isn't that border just awesome?! Thank you Amy for a WONDERFUL Christmas card!!! it is displayed on my Christmas tree for all to see... Hugs to you girl for thinking about me!!!

Wow! isn't this just darling and sweet?! Thank you Shirley for the Christmas goodies... i'm going to enjoy these... =D this card is another one that you will find on my tree... proudly displayed... hugs GF for thinking of me!!!

Thank you again to the both of you! for being awesome supporters! i really appreciate your words of encouragement and confidence and especially for your friendships! =D

and i leave you with this... my 2 angels at the DH's Christmas party this past Wednesday... i love going to the hotels during Christmas as they have some beautiful Christmas trees...

hope to be back later with a challenge card... i'm so sad to say i have not reached my goal and had to extend my timeline... the days are flying by so quickly that i totally forgot school gets out for winter break this coming week and now i'm rushing to put together some treats for DD#1's classmates... i'm almost done with it but you'll just have to wait to see it... Lots of things in the works, nothing completed... Mr. Sandman is calling me... my head is spinning... i htink it's time to call LIGHTS OUT!!!

a Snowflake Christmas

Yay for Thursday!! i just have to survive one more day... LOL... i guess i was extra exhausted today from the party last night... but hey, i still finished my card! came home for lunch and was suppose to rest up... instead, i was crafting... LOL... does the addiction ever end?!?! ummm, NO! i guess i had withdrawals from not crafting last night...

well, i went to take a look at this week's challenge at ATS and guess what?!?! it's to use SNOWFLAKES!! my fave!! so you know i couldn't pass up this challenge... =D oh, be sure to check their blog because some of the rules have changed...
i hope you're not getting tired of seeing this Angel Anya... i just love her and she's PERFECT for Christmas... you can snatch her up at TGF... this card is snowflaked out! i used both my MS and Marvy punches... found this snowflake DP from last year's American Crafts Christmas line... added rhinestones and glitter to the snowflakes... Anya's wings and white hair streaks have diamond stickles gg for that extra sparkle.... and i used my oval scallop nestie to cute her out... Wow! my fave color, my fave thought of Christmas and one of my fave Anyas... couldn't get better than that... i hope you get flaky with snow too!

i'm working on lots of things in the craft room... jumping project to project... wish me luck that another hurricane doesn't hit the room... LOL... Thanks for coming by... you ALL are such sweet ANGELS!!!

Christmas RAK

Happy Thursday!!! one more day until the weekend... and the weekend is looking busy as ever... didn't have any craft time yesterday as DH had his Union Christmas party... good food, great entertainment and all the members got door prizes... pretty good ones too... although they didn't giveaway a Vegas trip this year, that grandprize wasn't shabby at all... =D so DH managed to win a 2gb ipod shuffle... the new slim one... it's really cute but i still love my Nano... perfect for him he can hide it in his hard hat...

so with losing a day (or atleast a couple of hours) of crafting, i really need to haul it the next couple of nights... i'm still crossing my fingers to reach my goal... hopefully i can finish one card i've started and share it with you tonight...

i wanted to share with you an AWESOME Christmas RAK i received from my sweet GF Michelle!!! she is always on the roll and whips out such delicious treats... if you have some time, please visit her blog and see what she's been up to... you'll love her creations... =D
This came in the mail this week and the first thing i said with just looking at the package was "i don't remember ordering anything?!" i really thought i lost my mind amist all that's been going on... then i moved the "junk" mail to the side and saw that it was from Michelle! yes, definitely got very excited! see the cute tag she made!! that pixie is so darn cute!

here's the goodies inside... she must be a mind reader because i was just thinking about picking up some Popcorn Bear stamps and then she surprises me with this... no all i need is to get me some foam mounting and i'll be good to go! =D she also sent some rhinsetone and pearl embellies and flowers in my favorite color.... Ah, and the little pouch holds this beautiful HK charm that is made out of a scrabble piece... how darn cute is that?!?! sorry i should have taken it out of the bag, but i was just so excited to take a pix...

Thank you Michelle for thinking of me this holiday season! i can't wait to play with my new goodies ... i LOVE it all... =D oops, was i suppose to wait until Christmas?!?! Thanks again girl for the wonderful Christmas RAK!!! =D

alrighty, it's time to get ready for work... ugh, i'm so tired today... i think coming home for a nap at lunch may do me some good... =D have a fun-filled beautiful day!

Angel Freight

{{If you are here for my Dare post, please scroll down. Thank you!}}

Welcome to the 87th edition of Flutter by Wednesday!!! We hope you'll flutter with us this week!

This week, we have added an addtional challenge for you... a WINTER theme... you MUST use a butterfly, fairy or angel and create a winter theme on your creation... we would love to see anything that fits our requirements... some ideas for you: cards, scrapbook pages, ornaments, etc... Show us your Winter Wonderland!! don't forget to direct link your creation to Mr. Linky on Danni's blog so we can see what you have done... if uploading to SCS/PCP/gallery, please use the keyword FBW87...

When i think about winter, the first thing that comes to mind is SNOWFLAKES... i just LOVE snowflakes... hard to believe when we don't have any in Hawaii... i guess that makes me appreciate snowflakes even more... and believe me when i say A LOT!
I originally began this challenge with this card here... using Angel Anya from TGF, i colored her in copic colors mauve shadow, pale lilac and prune... the white hair streaks are glittered with stickles and her wings are fun flocked... i finally found the cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder and just had to rip it open and use it... so i embossed a piece of lavendar CS to use as one of my layers... i love playing with purple, but it's so hard to find pretty papers... i actually found this DP (by K&Co) in the wedding section of our local craft store... it has tiny flowers on it that i thought passed as snowflakes... this beautiful ribbon flower reminded me of a poinsettia and it made a perfect addition... i punched snowflakes using MS and Marvy punches and colored some with copics... wanted to match the pearls on the flowers, so i glued tiny pearls to the centers of the snwflakes and onto her bow.... whatcha think of this card?!?!? then i got even more inspired and did this....

made a little gift bag that measures about 5x7... using the same elements from my original card i tried to case it on the bag... i used eyelets and ribbon to make the handles and everything else is pretty much the same... then after doing that, i came up with this....

an altered magnet frame... i didn't use the embossing folder on this one, because it would have gotten smashed... the BG and snowflakes are actually inside... the post-it pad and Angel Anya are glued directly to the outside of the frame....

and here is the "Complete Package".... or as i call it "Angel Freight"... hehehe!!! can you tell i just LOVE snowflakes... LOL... so with all this inspiration from my one card, i'm also going to enter this into 2 more challenges:

1. Club Anya - Complete Package

2. ROP Challenge 26 - Alter Something

Now fly on over and see what the rest of the FBW team has awaiting for you.... oooh this is a magical winter!

So Girly!

Hello Friends and welcome to Whimisical Wednesdays - The Diedrich Dare Week 14!! We have something fun and inspirational this week that we hope will inspire you to get creating...

But first, please help me give a huge WARM WELCOME to our 2 newest Daredevils... Jacqueline and Valerie... Welcome girls!!! you both are going to have sooooo much fun!!!

so what do we have for you this week?!?!

Jessica's DD Madelynn is really into Wizards of Waverly Place (hehehe, i am too because DD#1 enjoys this show too) and she saw this plate online... so she DARED us to get inspired with this...
Please hop on over to the Dare Blog and see what our featured stamper, Darla, has to show you!! you will be "easel-y amazed"...
here's my take on the inspiration... real girly girl!! So how did Madelynn's Dare inspire me?!?! i definitely had to ink up Megan from TGF... she some what potrays Alex right?! did a little alteration on Megan by drawing a line on her arm to make it look like she was wearing a long sleeved shirt under... searched the local craft store for a nice sheet of flourished flowery paper and found this beatiful DP by Bo Bunny... the roundness of the plate also inspired me to make the focal point round... i used my circle nestie to create the first circle and then my circle cutter and circle template for the pink CS back layer... i found this "oh sure!" sentiment in my stash of stickers... when i first saw our challenge the very firt thing that came to me was pink and blue... so Megan was colored with copics in this color combo and i punched some flowers to spread around complete with a rhinestone middle... and i just had to add some blue ribbon... =D

Please visit the rest of the Daredevils and see what inspired them to whip up their creations...

Sweet Wishes...

alright! i'm back and i think i'm functioning properly! LOL... after waking up a little later than planned, we made it to the doctor's in time... girls got their h1n1 shot today and hooray for no one cried!!! =D then it was off to Wally world to pick up some vitamins and some household things... then off to the post office to wait in the long lines and mail out some goodies (no, i'm not even close to being done...) my goal this week is to finish it ALL and have it mailed out on Saturday... wish me luck! LOL... and i couldn't pass up a trip to the craft store... did little damage there... =D

i have some sweetness to show... a little something i've been putting together for some kiddies... i'm entering this package into the ATS - Anything Christmas challenge...
{click on the picture to enlarge}

so here's some Christmas goodie bags that i've stuffed... i used the Candy Cane Mice digi from TGF... it's just the sweetest image to color up... colored these friendly mice in Christmas colors with a touch of stickles to various parts of the image... the yummy sweet DP is from the Merry mint American Craft collection and Imaginisce... it's so yummy! Sweet Christmas Wishes sentiment by Dandelion Designs is stamped on the back (sorry, the back is already personalized so i didn't take a picture) Lots of yummy items in these packages and i'm hoping the kiddies that receive them will enjoy!

it's another busy week and my craft room is a total MESS as i'm trying to finish up lots of projects that are incomplete... i cannot even see my desk or my big shot as lots of things are piled everywhere... LOL... i think i have to clean some of it up, atleast to give me some working space... =D

Thank you for all the beautiful comments you leave daily... i appreciate all your words of encouragement and support! it all means everything to me... THANK YOU!!!

okay... back to crafting i go! hope everyone is having an awesome new week!
