Goodies galore!

Oh no!! it's another day where i don't have anything crafty to show you!! didn't know it was going to take me all day to clean up my craft space yesterday.... and once i was done, it was well past my bed time and i was just too tired to start creating... hence, i feel good that i finally cleaned my stamps that i had previously used (a very bad habit i have) and had put them away... also put away my new supplies and old ones too... i still need to get some storage containers for some embellies like my brads and small things (guess i'll do that today) and i need to put my new sewing machine together so i can start sewing some baby gifts (YES, i finally got a new one)... it wasn't worth it to fix my old one so i bought a new machine as a Mother's day present to myself... hehe! but believe me, i only use it to sew straight stitches!! LOL! anything beyond that i think i have to take a class... the only thing i didn't touch yesterday (or i should say cleaned up) was my paper drawers... the paper monster is attacking and i the attempt to fix up is what i'm dredding... LOL...

anywho, i know some of you are waiting to see what i spent my (or the hubby's) moola on while checking out the craft stores on Oahu, so before i put those away i snapped this pix....
LOTS of new stamps!!! mainly CC designs... ones that i can use with other stamps and so forth... this is everything i found and wanted (actually i really wanted more) at various stores... you can spy that i finally got me a Manga stamp and some TGF ones i didn't have yet (can you believe that, LOL).... and of course embellies... also got 2 new cuttlebug folders that are hidden in the back... Thanks to hubby for putting up with my addiction and letting me go a little wild in buying... hehe! i feel so deprived on this island with only one craft store and not much to tend to my crafting needs... i take that back... we have another small craft store but it's geared more towards the tropical flair.. you know, everything Hawaii! tropical papers, tropical die cuts and stamps... can't really go outside the box with those... but i did notice that slowly, our Ben Franklin Craft store is bringing in more embellies from big companies like Bo Bunny and Pebbles... which helps... still, cutesy stamps like TGF and CC designs have to be purchased online for me... hmmm, do you think hubby would let me open my own craft store???? LOL, maybe NOT! then he would never see me!

okay, only 2 more days of school for DD#1 and then it's a summer stretch... but today, DD#2 and i are going to visit my boss' from my previous job and then i need to pick up some baking supplies (mmm, yum!) and i really want to get Dear John that just came out today... and last but not least, i am DETERMINED to get crafty today... tired or not! so, thanks so much for visiting me today and all my other ramblings this week... if i don't bring anything crafty to you today, be sure to come back tomorrow for my DT postings... so until later, have a FABULOUS day!!! Lots of hugs to you!!!

    Enjoy your day, Kris.

  2. Sister you bought a lot of nice goodies! I can't wait to see what you create with them. TFS! Here in my city there are not many crafty stores either, so I totally understand how do you feel. Every time I get the chance to visit a big crafty store I have to control myself too LOL! Big hugs :)

  6. Hey Kris you you like the same stuff I do. On my last shopping run to Honolulu I bought lots of the same goodies. I'm looking forward to playing with them now that grad season is almost done. Hope you have fun with your supplies but take it easy, too. You wouldn't want that new baby to become a night owl. LOL
