Summer started yesterday for my DD#1... and she has a week off before starting her summer program... so yesterday we went to my dr. appt and then to the mall for some shopping and play time at the playground... i must have over did it, because i was in extreme pain yesterday... my back was so sore i was on the edge of crying and then i was having little contractions... contractions have gone away but the back pain still lingers... hubby gave me the NO crafting tonight look so i put in a dvd and he was nice to give me a little massage... so, there was no crafting at all yesterday... man, if this keeps up i'm going to loose my mojo again... but from my first pregnancy, i've had early contractions so that's something i need to watch out... i was bedridden with DD#1 and on the line with DD#2.... i think i've learned my lesson when they say to take it easy... being bedridden ain't fun at all!
today i share with you my May OCS from my partner June!!
how did she know i LOVE TGF stamps!!! look at this cute hula Anya she created with!! i love the flower paper and her coloring on Anya!! Thank you June for a wonderful swap!!
here's the card i created for her...
i used one of the new stamps i bought last week... Lady bug Nora by CC Designs... she's a cutie!!! i tried to do the out of box technique using my oval nestie... not bad after a few attempts... LOL... and i am definitely in love with the new Pebbles patterned paper line... so much i even picked up more yesterday... i hope June likes this card!!
the monthly OCS is a fun way of meeting new people and getting ideas and inspiration from others... i highly recommend you to join up... it has long been run by Teri, who has now passed on the torch to Linda and Kyoko... sign ups for June is happening right now on Linda's blog, so if you have time, sign up and join in... new players are ALWAYS welcomed!
well, that's all i have to share with you today... after some blurfing, i was inspired to use some techniques on some (hopefully) creative creations today... please back, i ask you to be kind... LOL... we'll see how much i can get done before i curl up and want to cry!! haha! Thank you always for visiting and leaving such wonderful and heartfelt comments on my blog! it truly means a lot to me and really keeps me going! you all inspire me to continue this journey, pain or no pain!! and i LOVE you all for it!! Have a beautiful, blessed, Friday!!

ReplyDeleteLove the cards... super cute! I hope you remember to take it easy each day! Trust me, you don't want to be bedridden... I had it for DD2,3, & 4 at the end of my pregnancies for preterm labor. No fun at all, but at least you can catch up on all your shows! Have a great weekend (with lots of rest)! Take care!
