i actually stopped at 14 cards... but that was until i started packing them up to send out... then, i realized i only had 3 boy cards to send.... so that gave me a push to make just a few more... so all in all, i ended up sending 20 cards made by me to a fantastic cause!! i hope it will put an extra smile on someone's face... i wasn't in it for the prize over at TGF, it was a fantastic contest that i thought could make a difference in someone elses life... don't get me wrong, the prize is fabulous and i've mentioned to you all time and time again to enter and join in... but it's okay if i don't place anything, for me, the biggest reward is knowing the cards will be used for something special... and i am ready to participate in another card drive if they have one... i supported the card drive so much, that i even asked my DD#1's 1st grade class to participate... and as a shocker, the teacher was okay with that... =D so i'll share their cards later... for today, i'll leave you with a few of the last cards i made... won't show them all... don't want to bore you with a long post... so i'll save the rest for maybe tomorrow... here we go!
okie dokie! there's an annual BFC Mother's Day craft fair today and i'm getting ready to check out what's new... i need a bday present for my Grammy's bday (which is tomorrow) and a few gifts, so i hope there are good things... May is such a sweet month for me... Grandma's bday, DD#1's bday, and my wedding anniversary (9 years, OMG, it seems longer)... well then, i have to get moving... put a smile on your face, you never know who's looking at you!!! Hugs!
