Hiya Friends!! Oh my how fast the weekend has gone by.... it was a super super busy one for me... and i'm liking the fact i don't have to do any late nighters this week... i need sleep!! LOL, and hopefully i'll get some this week! i have a lot of catching up to do on that... =D

So yes, the weekend or last week in general, has been super busy with sleepless nights and then finally doing the Keiki Karnival... but i'll rant about that tomorrow... today's posting is all about the new challenge this week at Lollipop Crafts!!! Yep, and it's hosted by ME!!! Challenge #25 - Anything but a card!

here's my creation this week!

so i'm still learning how to use my Cinch and i figured, why not try it for this week's challenge... so, with that thought, i created this notepad.... i think out of all the Meljen's images, "Tutu Sweet" is by far, my most FAVE!! Of course she is, i always use her... hehe! she's just, well, Tutu Sweet! very versatile and you can color her up to match any paper you want to use... so for my notepad, i used this hearts in rainbow colors paper and colored her up in rainbow colors... the sentiment is from Dandelion Designs and i couldn't resist adding some rhinestones, in hearts shapes too...

ok, this week i have a lot to share... maybe some pre-posting will help me out... haha, yah right! before i head off, i just want to wish a very sweet and loving blog sister a SUPER SWEET and HAPPY BIRTHDAY! as she celebrates her birhdhay today!!! You know who you are!! and hey, if you know who it is too, then please hop on her blog and wish her a FABULOUS day!!

Simple Notepads...

Ah-HA! 3 days in a row for posting... i'm so on a roll!! LOL... but then i'll probably break again for the weekend, since today is the 1st day of the Keiki Karnival... we'll be busy stuffing our faces, playing games, watching good entertainment and hopefully selling some of our things! awesomely our booth is right next to the soda booth... caffeine fix... hehe!

a fabulous challenge is happening over at All That Scraps and well, i decided to play along this week... Anything goes is the theme and i do believe this project fits right into the catergory... so here it is...

and yes, i've used scraps on this notepad cover too! i used Laying Nora from the Swiss Pixies line by CC Designs and paired it with the senitment from TGF's Butterfly Wishes set... you can get both sets from ATS... i really like this one...

since i was on a roll with creating this one, i decided to do another... and that's this one using Country Girl, also a CC Design... a sweet stamp i got from my blogging sister Michelle for Christmas! Thank you Michelle! she was perfect to pair with some yummy candy paper from DCWV...

sad to say i've only made 2 of these... didn't get a chance to pick up more notepads until last night and well, my desk looks like this right now....

might not have time to put more together, so we'll see... oh and my desk is considered a "clean" craft night... hahaha!

time to say toodles and get some sleep... i didn't know it was waaaaaaaay past my time limit... i'm weighing in my head "finish up now" or "finish up after some sleep"??? hmmm, i think i'll finish up after some sleep! good choice right?! hehe

Post-it! Literally!

Good Morning to yah peeps!! techniquely it should be good night since i haven't slept yet.. LOL... oh well! anywho, Happy Wednesday!! day or night... =D

caffeine has been my "bestest" friend this week... naps have been second... counting right now, i have 3 more days of sleepless nights... okay, okay, i do get about 4 hours of sleep and an hour or 2, nap during the day... after this weekend it should be back to my regular schedule which i have penned in "SLEEP!" LOL...

so i'm savoring the fact that i've finally taken some pictures of my completed projects, but i'm not going to share them all at once... my blog is in need of some love of regular postings so i'll share a project every day or so... today i have post-its to share...

i am extremely happy to say that i've been using alot from my scrap pile for most of my projects... with an exception for the bigger projects... majority of these post-it holders have scrap on them, with some that i couldn't resist using a certain paper... excuse the glare please, they are packed and ready to be sold... but even with using the scrap pile, i still can't see the bottom of the container... ugh, i feel so wasteful... hehe!

my aunt wanted to buy me the memo sizzix die to do this, but i told her i could come up with something like it, it's all about playing with size... couldn't see paying $45 for something easy to figure out... and i'm happy with the way it came out... lots of paper and cutting and putting together, but some came out really cute! made about 25 so it's first come, first get it, cause i don't think i'll be making more to sell... LOL...

okie dokie, time is real precious this week... if i could add another 12 hours in a day, i would, no questions asked.... but i think i should be heading back into the craft room to finish up what's on the desk and maybe (hopefully) get some shut eye!

Secret Sister Swap for February

Hiya!! so i've been super busy finishing as much as i can for the bazaar coming up this weekend... lots of late nighters with craft supplies, caffeine, movie/music and ME!! LOL... if i don't push myself, i'll never get anything done... and on tops, my 2 lil' have a cold, so i've been battling with runny noses, coughs and sneezes in my face... Airborne please! hehe... but i'm hoping this week i'll be able to share the creations i've made...

If you're on Maui, come and check us out at the Christ the King Keiki Karnival on Friday, 2/4 from 5-10pm or on Saturday, 2/5 from 11am-8pm... i'll have some paper crafts and knick-knacks with me and my SIL will be selling some shirts!

Hey, Hey!!! Monday rolled in again! TOO FAST! Lots of happenings over at Lollipop Crafts so be sure to take a peek and see what's going on! Last challenge over there today and it's one that is very proper as the DT1 has come to an end!

Barbara is hosting her last challenge for Lollipop Crafts... Challenge #24 - SISTERS! Use an image of sisters... didn't i say it was a perfect challenge?! Barbara and Peggy has been sisters to the extended Lollipop Crafts family! =( yes, i'm sad that we're saying farewell to 2 wonderful and talented designers this week!! Barbara and Peggy will not be returning for Team 2, but we do wish them ALL THE BEST in their next adventures and hope they'll still come and play along!! here's my creation! I used the "Sisters" stamp from Belle's n Whistles... isn't it just the cutest image?!? i really adore it, it's just super sweet! i was feeling colorful this week and inspired to use papers from the Pixie Cosmo Cricket paper pad (my fave, atleast for now)... the colors just bloomed sweetness!! hehe! i thought i had a sentiment pertaining to sisters or the like, but i can't find it... that is the reason for the absence of a sentiment... maybe that is a sign that i need to 'clean' my craft room again... LOL

Catching up....

Happy Hump Day!!! =D i have to admit that i've been slacking a little (well, maybe ALOT) with taking pictures and uploading them.... hehe... i guess life caught up to me after all... Lil' man is almost 6 months now and he doesn't really sleep through the day.... short naps and then wants to play for as long as he can... so i'm pretty much limited during the day... that doesn't mean i've stopped crafting... crafting hours are at night, when the house is asleep... and let's just say for the time being, i've fallen into an old routine and staying up til about 3-4am just to finish stuff... comprehendable on 4 hours of sleep?! sometimes.... LOL try to sneak in a nap in the afternoons... doesn't always work though... hehe... if my body (and mind) could handle my once beloved all nighters, believe me, i would! LOL.... i don't think the late nights will last very long... i'm just trying to prep for a craft fair/bazaar coming up next weekend...

going through what i already have loaded on my comp, i came across these pix that i haven't shared with you yet... Thanks to Joy U. for her fabulous clutch kit, i managed to make these little goodies for DD1's hula sisters... it was a hit as they all are lil' divas in the making... haha!
made about 20 for the girls and then did 3 more for DD1's kumu and the assistants... then i decided to whip up a few more to send as Christmas gifts to some blogging sisters... so sorry i failed to snap some pix of those before it was sent out... i was totally under pressure to hurry and get them out before Christmas...



also made some post-it holders using acrylic frames... my initial intention was to have these made and go out as Christmas gifts, but i wasn't able to finish much... the lack of photo frame sizes i wanted played a big part in not completing as well as time... it really made a cute set with the post-its and some paper and binder clips that matched... but with what i had done, i managed to send these out to some blogging sisters too!

my goal for the weekend?!?! upload the rest of the pictures and share them... i was blessed with lots of love from some blogging sisters who have sent wonderful gifts, beautiful cards and a whole lot of holiday wishes and i want to say "THANK YOU" for thinking of me and my family during the holidays!! The friendship leaves an imprint forever! i tried to take pictures of what i received, but i wasn't always quick enough and the kiddies decided they wanted to help me open my presents... so i caught whatever i could before they terrorized the packaging... will share that soon too!
