June OCS

It's Monday!! the start of a new week!! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!! i surely did with my family!!

not much crafting going on on this end... i managed to finish my OCS card and put together some baby shower things and well... that's about it... i have images that need to be colored laid out on my desk, but just didn't find the mood to color them up... i'm hoping today will be a better day for that... =D

so anyway, i'm sharing with you the card i made for my June OCS partner McCine... i hope she likes it....
we had a twist with this month's swap... we were to use favorites... anything that is a favortie of yours... sketch, embellie, stamp and so forth... so most definitely, i had to use Fleur Anya as she represents my favorite stamp company... i just love coloring TGF products... a few other faves of mine on this card is stickles gg (on the flowers in her hair), bling and dew drops... now you all know i love the color blue, but in this one i used more of a blue/green color... which i'm loving.... this is also my first attempt at making a side step card... and wow, i love this style... i was really proud on how this card turned out and i'm just hoping my partner will enjoy it too!

can't believe June is flying into July already... the days just seem to swoosh by... not soon enough however and i still have 2 more months before another Angel enters our lives... but oh, i'm already waddling like a duck with my round tummy and if no one knew better, they'd say i'd give birth at any time... LOL... enough ramblings for today... need to concentrate on getting crafty... hehe!! Have a beautiful Monday and i hope to be back soon!! =D

Daughters' Birthday Wishes....

Oh happy day! come on and sing with me... hehehe!! hello Thursday! where has the week gone??? i've been busy busy, keeping up with house chores, caring for my kiddies and yes, CREATING!! feels so good... haven't made much cards but i've been creating away with mounds of baby shower things... and that is just never ending it seems... i just finished rolling 48 baby washcloths... phew! now to wrap them up... =D

well today i wanted to showcase the wonderful cards my daughters made in honor of their Daddy's birthday.... mommy helped them put it together but they were the ones that colored away.... see....
this one was colored by DD#1... Daddy loved her two-tone hair style.... and i have to say, her coloring in the lines are getting better.... =D

here's the one made by DD#2... hmmm, can you tell what her favorite color is?!?! hehe! not bad for a 2 year old... it surprised me that she chose this image... i thought she was going to choose HG Sing since that's her FAVE!

we didn't get an extravagant cake for daddy... just something simple and yummy... he's not much of a cake person like me, so no Queen Emma for him... but we did get him a yummy yummy chocolate brownie ice cream cake from Safeway!! oh was it YUMMY!!!

Happy Birthday Dear!

Wow!! after a little over a week of non-crafting production, i finally got my hands busy yesterday... gosh, did that feel fabulous... mainly because i had to get some cards done for my hubby's birthday today!!!! Happy Birthday to my Hubby!!! =D and many more to come....
i finally trimmed and inked up Fleur Anya... one of the newly (well, back in May) cutest TGF Anyas released, i actually purchased her from Tamiko's... she's adorable and perfect for any occasion... today, i used her to send some sweet birthday wishes to my hubby... paper pieced her dress (something i haven't done in awhile) and added rhinestones to her flower middles... punched some flowers to add here and there, also with rhinestone middles... and complete with a "birthday wishes" sentiment, from the butterfly wishes set also available at TGF.... kept it simply layered because hubby likes to leave his stuff on his desk to collect dust... LOL... and hey, this fit perfect for the Fabulous Flowers challenge over at Anyone for Anya..... go check out the challenge, i did!

hope my crafting mojo is back and not just for the day... i've been lost not being able to create something... but with the heat and feeling tired from being almost 7 months pregnant, i knew i would have a stump somewhere... hehe!! DD#2 and I are off to find the perfect cake for today's celebration, so i'll be back later, with hopefully something crafty... toodles for now!!!
