Snow Angel

Woohoo! Made it to Wednesday... actually received some bad news today but i'm trying my hardest to put that in the back... so what better way to relieve some stress for a while?!?! hide in my craft room... managed to get a few challenges in one card... which i'm thankful for... in the beginning i didn't know what to do but in the end, i'm satisfied with the outcome...
Meet Angel Anya... or because of the theme, Snow Angel... give me some credit, it was the first time i've played with fun flock... and boy was it messy... =D the orignal card was plain, even with the beautiful non-traditional color DP by Heidi Grace... i just loved the colors on the DP... so i went a little crazy adding embellies all over... of course, it's snowflakes to match the paper... then i saw my bag of mini pom poms and added a few of those... snowflakes and snowballs... so christmasy.. diamond stickles gg glitters her wings and cotton cnady stickles glitters her bow... also added some diamond stickles onthe big snowflakes...

this card is up for the following challenges:

1. Mystery Monday at CA - Let it snow theme

2. MMSC #26 - Sketch that i changed up just a tad bit

3. ROP Challenge # 24 - A Christmas card

well, hope you can come along and play with 1, 2 or all of these challenges with me... until next time friends... Have a wonderful day! and i'll say this (mainly to myself) When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. =D

Thanks Kim!!!

Happy Humpday!!! just wanted to share with you a fabulous RAK that i received from my sweet GF Kim!!! Look at all the great stuff she sent... her gorjuss girl card is so beautiful... i took it out of the package to look at it, read the note from Kim, and put it straight back into the packaging.. =D also in this bundle of goodies was a Le Plumme blender, MS snowflake punch that i've been admiring so dearly, hemp string and she totally surprised me with my 1st La-La Land stamp... my favorite one from the new winter release... Winter Maya!
Thanks you very much Kim!!! that was a BIG surprise... muwah! i'm gonna ink up Maya for the La La Challenge =D... now if you don't know who Kim is, then i suggest you take the link to her blog... she does AMAZING creations and it doesn't just stop at paper... head on over there and you'll see =D...

next month for this evening is a challenge card... hope you stop there too!

Bubbly time!

Wow! 2 (actually 3) post in one day... am i feeling well?! LOL... didn't think i'd get this card done in time... but i'm glad i did...

this card is for Cute Card Thursday Challenge #84 - Midnight Magaritas... put your drinks up for this one! it doesn't have to be margaritas, as long as it's a drink/cocktail theme... this was perfect for the upcoming holidays... =D my fave margarita: Midorita, blended... mmm, haven't had one in almost 10 months... hahaha!
So i had this fabulous DCWV self adhesive ribbon... with cocktails on it... fabby right! then i turned my whole box of stamps upside down and found this stamp that was perfect... while making this card i was thinking, mmm bubbly... so i used this "swiss cheese" border punch... looks like bubbles to me... my friend's bday is coming up so i'll put this aside for her... she loves them bubbles...

please scroll down for my earlier post... now it's back to the craft room... have a good rest of the night... =D

All for one and one for all!

LOL!!! sorry i couldn't think of a better title! LOL... Happy Tuesday everyone! back again with another challenge card... woohoo... i'm still trying to get back in the sway of things after a few days of just sitting on my you know what and staring at all the stuff i need to finish, i'm slowly getting there...
Here's Miss Anya... all done up and ready to go to the Fourth of July party! oh darn! we're in November... i guess i'm a little late huh?! hehehe... actually, she's just being Patriotic... NO MORE FURLOUGHS! LOL... okay enough before i get carried away...

Miss Anya is strutin' her thang for these challenges:

1. Anyone for Anya - Patriotic Anya ~ use the colors of your country flag.. "US - Red, White and Blue"

2. FFF Sketch by Mercy

got some samples of this girl from my darling friend Kim... Thanks hun! i'm having fun! i really didn't know what to do or what papers to use that would take the attention from the colors... so i kept it plain... added some rhinestone stars and blue dew drops because it's a little too plain... the ribbon is semi sorta like velvet... or atleast it feels like it... i added some diamond stickles to the white stripes on her shirt and also on her eyelids... i embossed the blue BG CS and that's it... idk, i kinda like it plain now... LOL...

thanks for hanging with me today... i'll have somethin' new soon! Have a great day... Tomorrow is hump day!!!

Another award... means another 5 girls...

my sweet farmer sister Kyoko passed this award to me... Thanks sweetie! now i can pass it along to 5 more wonderful gals... i won't do the questionnaire, since i've already posted that (i know you don't want to read my answers all over again, LOL)... so here goes: Denise, Pam, Michelle, Joy (you have to do the questions, LOL) and Linda.... Love your blogs girls!!! hope you take this award and display it proud!!!

Fairy Alia

Happy Monday!!! this is really late and waaay past my bed time... but had to get it done! a few weeks ago i said you all were going to see this precious fairy again... sorry it's a week late! but i had to wait for one more picture to post along... {{why is she using this fairy again?!}} LOL, you'll see...
This is a little card that i made up for the DD#2... lil' miss Alia... perfect for Danni's Flutter by Wednesday Challenge #81... it's another open week as long as you use a butterfly or fairy... kept this simple as the appreciation by DD#2 is not really there... all she will say is "pretty"... well, what do i expect from a one year old... =D used Fairy Eva from TGF... added some stickles gg to her wings... Alia loves butterflies too so i had to add a few of those... and some bling... since that always makes her go "wow!"... some heart ribbon for accent because i {heart} my children... now peek below...

Ta-Da!!!! here's Fairy Alia.... =D took me 20 minutes of bribery to get her into costume... and then she didn't want to take it off... LOL... silly girl!
as always, thank you for coming by... i have one more to show you tomorrow... have a great week!
