Cute as a bunny....

Happy Whimsical Wednesday!!!! Time for The Diedrich Dare #23... a color challenge from Mama Daredevil herself, Jessica! and even though it's still winter, i'm sure you'll think SPRING... check out the colors you have to play with this week....
i immediately thought of spring when i saw this challenge... and i had the perfect bunny in mind...

uh-huh! Easter Anya from TGF... i was super excited when i received her last week... this is her first debut on my blog.... ain't she just cute as a bunny?! i used the sketch over at MMSC#41 to guide me on this challenge... it's a fabulous sketch to use... also used some pretty DP that i won from one of their weekly challenges... and when i flipped through the stack, i knew what papers i was going to use first.... i used cotton candy stickles to glitter up the light pink on her outfit... diamond stickles to add some glitz to the easter eggs... and white fun flock on the white part of those darling bunny ears... something was desparately needed on the edges and those buttons were the last touch...

again this creation was simple and sweet.... my arm was already hurting by the time i was putting this card together... but, i'm satisfied with the way my creations came out...

Roarin' for your LOVE...

It was such a beautiful Sunday with family and friends!!! i really hate to see these days come to an end... unfortunately, we all know they do... but nonetheless, we had a fun fun time at the park, having a picnic with friends... good thing is all the kids ran wild and now mine are fast asleep... =D but mommy is tired too... LOL... Hope you all had a beautiful weekend doing whatever it is that you were doing!!

Today i share with you my card for MMSC#38 - Your choice sketch.... you know me by now... i LOVE playing along to these sketches... it's a real challenge to get it as similar to the sketches as it is detailed...
made this cutesy Valentine's day inspired card for DD#1's after school leader... used the lion from the Wild Things set available at TGF.... along with this fun and cute new DP that i picked up yesterday at the craft store... it was just the perfect match... also used some new heart buttons and flowers... what do you think of this vday sweetie?!?!

sorry to keep this so short... i'm so exhausted right now from a very long day... waking up to 5 police cars in front my house with 8 police officers and 2 undercovers spread out on the street... and then an interview by one of them... lots of pounding on doors and then all of sudden the door is taken off... Wow, we never have this kind of action in my neighborhood... Thank goodness it wasn't my house! =D apparently our neighbors aren't paying their rent and now they have issues with the law... very sad! well, that was just the beginning of my day... time for bed... Nighty-night friends! to be continued.....

here's my card for you this week... i used Autumn Fairy from TGF (i just LOVE those fairies) along with MMSC#37 Sketch... check out MMSC they have something really awesome going on over there this week.... well i colored this fairy up in pinks and red using copics and glittered parts of her wings and the red in her hair using cotton candy and candy cane stickles gg... used heart DP and ribbon by American Crafts... lots of bling flourishes... yep, i love the bling... and the sentiment is from Clear Stamps... i thought it was such a cute saying... don't you think she could over take Cupid's job at anytime?! LOL... she's just missing her bow and arrow.... i hope you can see my embossing... one, there's embossing on the nestie frame and two, the light pink CS is embossed... you can always click on the pix to make it larger...

Another Flutter Anya card...

Back again with another challenge card for you... i'm really glad i'm getting back into the challenges since they are a big help for me to finish up Christmas cards.... this card is for MMSC #29 - sketch challenge... different shades of purple makes this card... i love purple but it's so hard to find pretty purple papers... after searching through my stashes of paper, i found this flourished purple paper in my Christmas stack...
I used Flutter Anya from TGF again for this card... she's colored in lilac and pale lilac for a soft tone... diamond stickles on the inner part of her wings and snowflakes... the small snowflakes around the image has rhinestones instead of gg... the 2 shades of lilac looks better IRL...

well, just a quick post.... headed back into the craft room to finish up more... =D

Who said the Grinch stole Christmas?!

It's Aloha Friday!!! the weekend is finally here... oh wait, mine started yesterday... okay never mind! LOL... a really quick recap of the midnight showing of New Moon... if you didn't see it yet, GO!!! you just have to go and see it... despite all the yelling teenagers and a bunch of bad mouth drunks that sat behind us, the movie took a bite out of my heart... =D i think we were on the wrong side too... LOL... my heart is for Edward (although Jacob was a total hottie) and the girls behind us was screaming everytime Jacob appeared... LOL.... like "OMG!" hahaha!



okay, i don't want to spoil it for anyone... but i would most DEF, see it again... so much better on the big screen... =D



so now, who said the Grinch stole Christmas?!? i think this Fairy totally stole Christmas...

I used Autumn Fairy from the new fairy line at TGF... if you haven't already, go and check out these new digis... and as you can tell, i made another easel card.... told yah i love them! sorry for the distorted card... although the sun is shining bright, the wind was blowing and kept lifting my card... anyway, this card is based on the sketch and theme at Midnight Madness (MMSC#28)... going green on the coloring, i just thought it was best to base the whole card on shades of green... found some great flourished DP in my Christmas stack that i used on here... beautiful snowflake ribbons by American Crafts... I have no idea where i got those white snowflakes... the colored snowflakes were punched and i colored them with copics... the white flower is from a poinsettia bush... little yellow green brads for the flower and stopper... some stickles on her wings and hair... i don't know, but i think she looks great in green... such a sassy, mischievous look... but really, she has a heart of gold...

well, i wish you all a wonderful weekend and hope you all get to craft some... Hubby is trying to smoke a turkey right now, and oh my, it smells sooooo good! i finished putting the tree up (undecorated) so now it's time to clean the craft room and get crafting... we won't decorate the tree until Thanksgiving day, but it's still pretty with the lights on... =D Aloha!

Pumpkin Patch Pippi

Ok, here's my card for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge 22... another exciting sketch... and my 2nd time playing... Be sure to stop by the challenge blog and get your jiggy on it... ALSO, don't forget the MM blog hop happenin' Oct. 16 - 20th... you don't want to miss it... Reminder and link on top of my sidebar... well, here goes...
i went with pumpkin colors for this weeks sketch... and i had to ink up this darling Pippi from my gf Michelle... isn't she adorable?! created a little pumpkin patch scene with these gorgeous pumpkins that i won over at the Wild Flower Patch (awesome news i woke up to this morning)... this is one of many digital creations by Jen... ain't it just darling?! knew i had to use them for this card... had to make a few alterations though to fit it on my precut BG (sorry Jen =D)... i didn't want to hide the big pumpkin because i wanted to pop it out... so i had to cut out the pumpkin closest to Pippi (it's actually on the right side of the big pumpkin in the original digi)... and here it worked perfect... a small bubble sentiment that says "Hey there pumpkin!" =D... also popped out her wings (see pix below)... added some stickles gg to her wings and the pumpkin stumps (or whatever they are really called, LOL)... The solid BG were embossed using 2 different pumpkin texturez by Sizzix... buttons, ribbon and eyelets complete this card...

Happy Wednesday! quick post with a challenge card before i head out the door... i admit i'm feeling a bit more gutsy in challenging myself with more challenges... so this card was made for
the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge week #21... head on over to the blog to get all the info you need...
The image is from the new Pink Cat Studio digis... I went a little bright with the colors for a more fun looking card! the sketch this week is awesome with lots of possibilites... but i lost my mojo some where a long this creation and this is how it turned out... so not for sure yet that i want to post her onto the challenge blog... remember you can only have one entry that will count... so i may go back to the craft room later and see what else i can dish up...
