Going Green!

Happy Aloha Friday!!! or atleast what's left of the day... =D as i said i'd have a creation for you today, this one is HOT off the press... literally... i just finished gluing on the last of the detailing...

ok, but first i have to share this funny story with you... bare with me k?!

so i got a bunch of new stamps in the mail today and wanted to trim them for use tonight... so i took them (my whole container in fact) with me to my Dad's house (we go there every Friday) so i'd have something to do... i'm not much of a drinker and that's what they usually do... so i'm cutting my rubbah and my Dad asks "what are you doing?" in a laughing reply i say "cutting my rubbah so i can make babies!" LOL.... his reply... "WHAT?!?!" i'm sitting there laughing hysterically... and DH is sitting there saying "that's how we had the first 2!" LMAO... then in the end i told my Dad, "see i'm practicing safe sex (don't want to have another baby just yet, unless it's meant to happen), look at all my rubbah..." he just shook his head... OMGosh, what a fun night... sorry sorry... just wanted to share a laugh... believe me, there were many... =D
now i present to you Miss Flutter Anya dressed in green... based on the fabulous 1st Monday Mania challenge of 2010 over at Club Anya and Friends, the featured challenger is Jenn Borjeson and she issued a MONOCHROMANIA - one color wonder! you can get all the details on the blog... love the versatility of Flutter Anya, and love the different shades of green... after going through tons of paper, i finally agreed to GO GREEN! =D pulling random scraps of green DPs, i've but this lovely card together on a green base CS... punched some flowers using smaller scraps of CS and added different shades of green rhinestones to the middles... can't really tell in this pix but IRL, you can see a color difference... the last detailing was adding dew drops to the corners... i am super satisfied on how the colors turned out on her... she looks fab rockin' those greens... not intentionally done, but do you think she's giggling over my story?!?!? LOL...

well, i'm heading back in the room to see what else i can whip up... hoping to start getting back into my groove again and participating in a few callenges i've missed over the holiday season... which btw, anyone care to share their new year resolutions?!?!? i'll share one of mine... MORE SLEEP! haha! i think i've already failed that goal.... Have a fabulous weekend and i'll be back tomorrow with.... well, something... =D
