Ah! Spoil you!

Saturday, Saturday!!! oh my am i posting on a Saturday?! wow, i must have done something right.... LOL.... with all the busy and craziness around me lately, i haven't been keeping up with my blog and randomly posting here and there... so it's really weird for me to be posting on the weekend... haha! hopefully i'll be getting better at it....

so... i've been loving my craft time making side step cards.... a new style (for me atleast) that i've just fallen head over heels for.... at this week at La La Lands Craft Blog, Challenge #46 is Step it up!!! i had to definitely participate with this challenge.... i've already created a step card and a side step card, so i really wanted to try a double side step card... and i did!!! seeeeeeee!
i used Bubble Lala on my creation... i just love her relaxing mood... something i could learn from her.... hehe... she comes with several sentiments, 2 of which i used on this card... "Spoil yourself" and "it's your birthday".... had these pearl sprays stashed in my caddy and thought it was perfect to accent the side panels... ah! a nice soak and pearls??? what could be better than this...

a spa day will have to wait until after my baby is born.... but oh am i looking forward to one... especially to soak my aching body in a nice tub full of hot water.... in the meantime, i'll just look at Lala here and pretend... hehe!

Hubby is away for the evening... and the girls are in the front house at Grandma's, so this Mommy will surround her self among loads of movies and craft supplies and relax just like that... i hope... the girls are actually a hallway away and can come in and out as they please, so i'm sure i'll be hearing the words "Mommy!" every now and then.... June OCS

It's Aloha Friday!!! yipppeee!!! i'm hoping to get into the craft room for most of the day today... no errands, no big plans, and i'm feeling a little in the mood to craft... =D wanted to share my June OCS card that i received from my partner, McCine.... it's blue-tiful!!!! look....
she made this pretty gate fold card... look at that gorgeous embossing... and i love how the flower embellies keep this card closed....

here's the inside!! isn't that image just so darn cute!!! love how she put the sentiment in there too... Thank you McCine for a wonderful swap!!! it's so adorble!!!

it's a little overcast here in Hawaii Nei... sun is trying to peek through the clouds... hope it stays like this for awhile... i'm dreadful in this heat.... it's horrible.... i wonder if DD#2 will let me sit in her pool?! Saying Good Bye with a big "Dare" Bang!!!

What's popping friends??!! We are already into July!!! can you believe how fast summer is going by?! i sure can't... except i can really do WITHOUT this heat... hehe....

Baby Shower Invites

Wow-weee!!! are we in a new month already?!? time is flying by... i wish the heat would too... LOL... anyway!! Happy Thursday and Happy month of July!!! is everyone enjoying the summer??? i am, but can we minus the HOTNESS?! hehe... guess it's not too bad having the fan on you all day.... gives a little breeze...

yikes, i was MIA yesterday.... my mojo took a little break after a bad afternoon on Tuesday.... but i did finish up majority of my baby shower invites yesterday and today and i have a few of them to share with you today... and YES! i did keep it simple....
i printed the invite part on vellum... something i LOVE to do with invitations..... found so cutesy boyish papers at BFC and used this as my theme base... transportation.... trains, cars, boats and airplanes.... all i basically did was mat the DP onto solid CS punched holes on the top and used this cute cute footprint organza ribbon to hold the 2 together....

here's a semi closer look at the invites... didn't have to make a lot, which was really good on my part... now that these are done i can start working on the more complicated things like my favors and decorations... with the long weekend up ahead, i hope to get some done... and some other crafting too...

well, although i'm a Twilight fan, i opted not to attend the midnight showing yesterday because of my round condition.... didn't want to wait in the long lines and battle the outrageous fans at the theater.... but in my deep wants to go, hubby said he'll take me tonight! YAY!!! i'm so excited and can't wait.... heard the reviews were AWESOME!!! so, gonna get crafty for a little bit and then rest before my date with Edward... or is it Jacob? LOL... wait, i meant the hubby... haha!! Hope you all have a fabulous day!!!

a Queen in all of us....

Yes!!! i did make another card yesterday!!! woohooo... i think my mojo is back... for now anyway.... hehe!

Finally inked up Cheeky Beauty, one of the new releases from TGF.... gosh is she a beauty.... she truly brings out the "Queen" in all of us right?! i just ADORE her...
anywho... created this card for a few challenges... using the color combo challenge over at ATS, Week 34 challenge is to use the colors, carribean, pink and celery... such a yummy combo... i also used the Saturday sketch over at CA&F... i really fell in love with it... and it was great to use with this card... oh isn't she so sassy!! the biggest challenge i had with this card.... not matting my layers... i couldn't believe myself... this was another "out of my cmfort zone" creation but i love the way it turned out.... i'm just so use to matting... =D

my desk is a huge mess as i try to figure out how to make the baby shower invites... although i want to make it complicated like my life, i think i'll stick with simple and cute and not stress myself... i know my family will just throw them away when it's over, unlike me who keeps it all... LOL... so decisions, decisions, it's going to be simple... haha!! don't know how much longer my mojo will stick around so i better get moving in the craft room!

I'm all WHITE!!!

ok, i'm on a roll here.... let's see how long it lasts... LOL... just finished my creation for the challenge over at La La Land Crafts... LLWWC #44 - White on White challenge.... wow, was this a challenge... i'm not use to going all white, i need a little color, either from DP or embellies... so i guess you could say i went outside my comfort zone! =D but i had tons of fun with this one...
i used Sunflower Rosie as my image... took out my circle and dahlia nesties and tried to create my own sunflower... and then looked for all white embellies and found some flowers, pearls, button and white polka dot ribbon... voila! this is how i put my card together...

so i'm guessing it will be a great creating week for me, so i better head back to my thinking chair and get going on some other creations before my mojo decides to take a vacay again!!
