Sparkling Sweet Pea

Hello everyone!!! it's the final challenge for the month of May over at Whimsical Wednesdays ~ The Diedrich Dare...

DDSC#37 hostess this week is Kim and her double daring sweet daughters Kaeli and Emilie... and they are daring you to SPARKLE!! easy right?! both girls are huge fans of sparkle and would love to see you create with anything that will make your creation sparkle and shine... a few faves are glitter stickles and glitter pens... so bring those out and play along with us at the Dare!
i LOVE glitter and sparkle too... so i couldn't help but bring out some glitter papers and stickles this week... i used yet another Ching-Chou Kiuk design and sparkled this mermaid up... the colors are bold and fierce, but shines... parts of the image is glittered, but i think the paper adds to it too....

isn't it amazing?! i was really head over heels trying to figure out how to detail my creation with this sketch... and i'm sure i'll use it again... take a look at my try....
got to use another Sweet Pea Stamp - Ching-Chou Kuik's masked fairy in green.... guess i really stuck to her name huh?! hehe! i didn't master my coloring skills on these stamps but i did try again... they are certainly gorgeous to color, but wow, i need to practice keeping it in line... i just flipped the sketch to fit my image and colors and voila! isn't this image just mystical?!

my card features "Unregrettable Pirate Life by Ching-Chou Kiuk"... gosh, isn't this mermaid pretty?! i had the best papers to use with her and then after putting it together, i thought it'd be a nice Father's day card for my DH... now i kinda wish i used the "best mate" sentiment... this is my first time ever inking up one of these beauties... i've had my eyes set on a few and never got a chance to get some... now i do and i'm loving it... need to work on coloring these though... don't look too closely or you might see my flaws... =D
