Easter treats!

Howdy!! haha! i know this post is coming at almost midday, but i didn't want to start slacking and decided to hurry up and post... =D this will be a quick one...

just sharing with you the 22 baskets i made last night for DD1's classmates...
i took the easy way out and assembled these cute baskets with plain CS and computer generated sentiments... these are a bit smaller than my bunny baskets i previously did, using 4x4 CS, but it fits those sweet treats perfectly.... i don't think a bunch of 2nd graders really understand the concept of homemade (or handmade) gifts, so instead of going crazy and making it all nice nice, left it plain and will wrap these up in some Easter baggies... simple enough!

i have 20 more to make for DD1's hula sisters and hope to finish those tonight... i can do it!!! i think... hehe! i'm actually enjoying the amounts i have to make right now... i just know when DD2 starts going to school, the count will grow... oh boy... yah, i'm really enjoying the numbers now.... oh my, what will i do when i have the 3 kiddies in school???? i'll have to make like 80 treats!! LOL...

thanks for spending a part of your day to check out my crafties... come back soon!!!

  3. Kris, you are such a great mother to make all those treat baskets. I wish now that I made more class treat stuff when my boys were little. Don't worry all the treat bag giving will be over all too soon. They don't want them by intermediate school.

  4. Omg! That's a lot of treat baskets! I agree with you on making it simple since they really only want the candy. I can't even remember the last time I did something like this since my kids are old now. Lol!

  5. Wow, you're on a roll. Bet the kiddies will love the baskets. I wish I was into rubber stamping when my sons were little. I know I would've had a blast making goodies for their classmates. They're all grown up now. Enjoy while there's young even when you gotta make 80. :-) BTW, I love your daughter's name. That's what I was gonna name our #3 IF it was a girl. :-)
