What's kickin' friends?!?! how's your week so far?! hope all well and everyone is getting crafty!
i'm joining the wonderful and talented ladies over at TGF's
Farm Fresh Challenge Blog today... and we are so going RETRO!!! yep, time for that monthly retro challenge... haven't heard about this new challenge yet?? well, let me tell you a bit.. ONCE a month, on the 2nd Wednesday,
TGF sponsors a special challenge to give your OLD TGF images some love... Stamps/Digis must be atleast 6 months old in order to qualify for the challenge... not sure of what will qualify? check out the RETRO list on SCS... full deets on this challenge may be found on the FFC blog too, so be sure to stop on over there and check out the wonderful creations by the DT too... this RETRO challenge has a twist to it too.... can you guess what it is?!?

if you said color challenge, you are correct! along with using a qualifying stamp/digi, you must use the colors
BLUE and
BERRY (pink)..... i did just that with my tissue box cover creation... you can find the instrux for the cover
here... doesn't Geisha Anya look wonderful in these colors? here's another view of the box....

DP from Imaginisce's Garden Party line were perfect to use with this challenge too since it reflects the challenge colors... this paper is matted along the remaining 3 side panels...

and a top view... very simple by using an embossing folder to create design and texture... i sponged on color to the embossed image using Memento Rose Bud... and yes, BLING!
you have ALL MONTH long to join in on this fun, RETRO FRESH challenge... so go and dig up your old faves and give them some life!
don't forget that the DECEMBER Guest Designer contest ends 11/10, you have today (Wednesday) and Thursday left, so make sure to get your entries in to Jess before the big reveal of Phase 1 on our Facebook page on Friday, 11/11!
remember, you can get the full details on this month's RETRO challenge on the FFC blog and you can get the GUEST DESIGNER contest info on TGF's blog...
